Well made and designed
This is a very well made product and looks great. It holds exactly 1/2 lb of ground coffee, and uses a locking "plunger" type cover to lock out air and compress the coffee to maintain freshness. The bamboo top/lid fits over the plunger to further seal the contents. I would definitely recommend this product and plan to buy another one.

super frische endlich geschmacks neutral
hatte vorher edelstahl für 2 wochen da hat der Kaffe nach metall geschmeckt daraufhin habe ich mir diese Keramikdose gekauft und ich muss sagen der kaffe schmeckt wieder normal wie vorher aus der original verpackung auch keinen hässlichen beigeschmack und bleibt frisch , wenn man die dose öffnet riecht man den super kaffegeruch , diese keramikdose ist perfekt für meien Buffalo soldier kaffee

Get this ceramic one!
Pretty happy with the product. Looks as nice as expected. Inner lid seals pretty tight, but the top wooden lid does some BS shallow "kinda-sealed" that basically just stitting pretty on the top. Full 12oz bag of beans filled up about half the space (see pic), so I guess it should be okay with 1-1.5lbs, I’ll update my review to confirm it. Also nice to have an extra space to put the scopper in. Glad I picked the ceramic one although it’s on the heavier side. The can version looks thin and cheap just like the ones I got from IKEA, plus many reviews complained about theirs dinged easily. This one is aesthetically satisfying and built solid. Just be careful not to drop or bang it! 5 STARS, easy.

Keeps coffee grounds fresh and fragrant!
I usually buy a brick of Café Bustelo because it is cheap, delicious, and caffeinated. This cannister has done an excellent job of keeping my coffee fresh and I have noticed a difference in the taste of my morning cup of coffee. It is also beautiful and easy to use. It is certainly worth the price!
