One of the biggest challenges I have undertaken in this sort of hobby, it is extremely rewarding after you complete the whole piece, but it is not for beginners, pieces are very small and sometimes not so ease to assemble, but that is part of the fun in this kind of project, if you are starting please try a different more approachable piece first. FYI special tool are required.

If you’ve built any of these metal models you know the deal. This ones not for beginners. There are some challenging operations with some extremely delicate pieces so if you’re buying this for a kid they should be older, patient and already have experience with these kits. All said the resulting model is stunning; such minute details. Unlike the “usual” shiny steel models these come with printed colors and graphics on them. Really neat.

Took weeks to complete this challenging Piececool St. Basil’s Cathedral metal model, but loved every minute—my first metal model kit that sparked a new hobby, perfect for decompressing after intense workdays with its intricate details and rewarding build.

This is a very hard puzzle. I do enjoy it, but it is for someone with the patience for a difficult puzzle. And even though I feel the instructions are clear I did manage to mess up on some windows and now I have to undo what I put together to fix it, but I feel that was more my fault for not checking. A puzzle for puzzlers. Though it is significantly smaller than I originally expected. The entire thing is going to be slightly bigger than my hand so the pieces are wee little things and tiny pliers are needed.

Not for a beginner! Start with some simple kits like Metal Earth music instruments and work your way up. I had to buy some tools to do Notre Dame. Some of the parts are tiny. I use a lighted magnifying glass and it is a MUST for me. Knipex needle nose pliers 35 21 115 works well for me. This model is stunning! It is small and compact. You must have the patience of a saint, but it is worth it. Precision is a MUST if you want the finished model to look great. Just finished La Sagrada Familia and it was difficult. There are 18 steeples that are mostly 3 parts and you need some tapered tools to roll them to the correct shape. Lots of bending for the sanctuary around the steeple of Mary.

It's nice. But too fragile. Broke parts easily. Very tiny

What a great product! I had done another companies Notre Dame and it was fun but not as much fun or a nice a end result as this model. This model besides being the prettiest building that I have found in metal models is also one of the best thought out and solid to construct. It went together so well and getting the individual sections together and then the easy final assembly was so much fun! The finished model is so solid and well constructed. The details are beautiful! A few words about tools. These models are very intricate and having the right tools is key to ending up with a nice finish. Getting the micro model tools with the tiniest little micro pliers made a huge difference. Highly recommend you have the right tools. All these tools come in handy and the cost is minimal. My ninth model and by far my favorite! Now if Piececool would just PLEASE PLEASE make a model of the Sagrada Familia!! Please!

I really enjoyed.

Came in a nice box and parts are nicely painted. Instructions weren't the easiest to understand and assembly is fiddly at best. Tabs on parts would not fit easily into the slots resulting in broken parts. Shaping the roof parts was near impossible. I have given up on this because too many parts broke and the structure is not stable even when I tried to shore it up with glue. Personally I won't buy another puzzle like this again.

This model is definitely not for beginners. It's very well designed, cute to perfection and the choice of color is spot on. If you're very detail-oriented & precise and follow instructions you will enjoy this model. There is some repetition with tinny pieces (ex.: bending borders of 1mm on some parts of architectural elements). I'm half way building it and enjoy every minute of it. Highly recommended for experienced 3D metal model builders.

I built it and looks like the original before get burn. Even some parts are coming down. Very happy. Nos easy at all. Took me many hours. First time with this stuff. A few times I wanted to give up but at last… did it. Hahaha
