Such an amazing chair for the price. It looks and feels very rich and solid and the leather is beautiful. Getting the footrest out is a bit of a challenge, but it's doable and very comfy. I'm just kind of short, so it's hard for me to lean back with my feet on the ground. HAHA! The cushion on the chair is really nice and springy, and time will wear it in beautifully. I love everything about the chair - the look, the feel, the comfort, the ease of assembly and how great it looks in our room! It will fit with any decor and it looks really classy. I'm thrilled with my purchase, and I hope that someday soon I'll have time to actually sit in it and read a good book.

VERY pleased with this chair. It took us longer to unpack it than it did to assemble it.....5 minutes, tops. We got the brown, and it's a very rich-looking piece of furniture at an affordable price. It's extremely comfortable, sturdy, very attractive and exactly what I need for my upcoming surgery because I cannot sleep in our bed for a few weeks. It is a little stiff at first when trying to recline, but it has loosened up some so it's much easier now. I needed one without a lever to operate because they're always on the right side, and that's the arm I'm having surgery on. I will be in a sling making it impossible to operate a lever. The design is perfect, and wraps right around you instead of the overstuffed backs that push you forward and up. I highly recommend this chair!!! :)

This is a lounge style recliner so the upright position is more leaned back even when straight up. What I love about this chair is the support when reclining, I am 6,2” and the leg support catches me right at the ankles where others my feet hang too far over. Also when deep reclining the foot rest rises even more bringing you into a zero G weightless feel. I fall asleep many nights in my office where my chair is at. It’s a fine piece of furniture for the price I’ve been to several furniture stores where a chair of this style cost way more and doesn’t feel much better. I will add that this is a firmer chair so if you’re looking for a cushy recliner, this may not be it. Also if you are a plus size beyond 38” waist this chair May be a little tight. Overall for style, quality, and price and comfort I give it 4 stars.

Update: Had to get another to complete my living room and to compliment my scroll arm loveseat and ottoman. Well...see for yourself, you won't be disappointed. I, too took a chance to purchase this chair with (1) review as the wingback seems to best fit my decor. As it turns out, it was simple to assemble and functions as described. PROS: It's very comfortable and supports well. I fell asleep in it the first day; The chair sits a little higher and allows for easier ups & downs being 6'1" and a disabled veteran with major back issues. CONS: If you're over 6 feet 3 inches and wide of body, this may not be the chair for you (will be a snug to tight fit); You'll want to invest in a neck roll due to couture of seat back at the neck; I wish it had a 'wall-hugger' mechanism, otherwise expect to have the rear legs a minimum of 26 inches from the wall to avoid damage when fully reclined. If after a couple of months the chair fairs well, I may consider purchasing several more for my home theater and Update...meanwhile it's time for another nap.

I have mixed feelings about my new chair. The style and appearance is beautiful. Color is rich, material is not supple but I believe will give a little over time. The padding is not as firm as I was expecting from other reviews and I am glad about that. The back has good support for my back although I am still using a small lumbar pillow. It reclines easily. But— the footrest only comes up if the chair is in at least a semi reclining position. So you cannot sit up and have feet raised. You must be somewhat reclined. So this is not working well as a replacement for my old chair as I had hoped. In the fully reclined positions it is comfortable, but to sit and still function in he room, it is not comfortable as the seat tilts slightly forward. For the price I paid (under 400) it is a good chair, and I’ll keep it for now, but it’s not “the chair” I had hoped it would be for me.

I bought this chair to complete my library and it looks absolutely beautiful, perfectly matches the style of the room. Very easy to assemble just slip the back on and screw in the legs. construction is good and I imagine it will last a long time. The seating position is perfect and very comfortable the reclining feature goes a little too far back but I only wanted the use of the footrest while sitting upright so it doesn’t bother me. The material is obviously not top quality full grain leather so don’t expect it to be that type of soft plush feel but for the price I am more than satisfied. 5/5 would recommend.

Chair looks awesome, but the poor quality will become evident in a few months when the outer material begins to fall apart. It is very uncomfortable and the fake or reconstituted so-called "leather" will soon begin shredding and peeling off the armrests and seat cushion with regular use. Definitely not a $400 chair. Don't be fooled by the claim that this is a leather chair. It has a very thin covering made of synthetic materials and scrap leather fiber or something so that it can legally be called leather. It became very unsightly after about a year and looked like a worn out chair that had been discarded by a dumpster. This is definitely not the chair you're looking for, unless you want a chair to look at and not sit in.

You can spend twice the amount for the same thing! This is extremely awesome and comforting to kick back in. I’ve owned many others in my 70 years, but I’d buy this again… but it’s so well built I don’t think I’ll need to replace it
