Dr. Scholl's Ingrown Toenail Pain Reliever, 1 kit, (w/Gel, 12 Retainer Rings & 12 Protection Bandages)

Had pain in my foot since knocking my nail off- it took ages to grow back and was then oddly shaped- this deadened the pain and has worked- not sure what the plasters are for- but it’s worked- beware it stings for the first few applications

This product does smell like absolute death, even if you're very careful to seal the gel in as cleanly as possible. Be aware of this. However, it does work- swelling went right down and after a few days and the nail was flexible enough to lever the edge out to trim it and remove THE ENORMOUS BARB that was apparently slashing up the nail bed every time it healed and I walked a little too fast on it. So yes, it's unpleasant, but not as nasty as a ragged, bleeding, infected toe being continually gouged by the nail. That's just horrid. Thank goodness for this stuff.

This worked for me after the third application. I couldn’t get to the podiatrist as I was going on holiday. It softened the toe nail and the skin around it. I was able to release the nail from growing inwards. I didn’t notice a bad smell. I have enough left to use it again if needed. I’m just trying to make the nail grow properly. I was able to enjoy my holiday without any pain.

As others have mentioned doesn’t really help with ingrown toenail. If anything it seems to make it worse. I was worried after reading some of the reviews that items are missing from the box. I did not have this gel went on easily but seem to make my ingrown, toenail and toe More painful I find it a lot better just to use TCP and soak my foot in hot water and salt and the price is way over the top for what you get also find the spongy circle things you’re supposed to put a around your toe before putting plaster on, gets in the way when you tried to put your shoes on, and the plasters do not stick very well

Does what it says on the packet

Followed instructions from what I could make out. As you can see a huge sticker covered most of them which pulled off the writing of tried to remove. But this does not do anything.

Does what it says on the tin. Arrived squashed into a massive cardboard envelope. Poor packaging

Great for husbands fungal nail infection and it worked.

Without medicine , only bandage

Beleive me it's awsome product comes with lot of additional taping .I initially felt it expensive was about to cancel my order. I would have regretted . My toe recovered just with one application. Do dip your toe in hot soapy water in between to lesson initial severe pain.

An ingrown toenail is very painful, and I had one as a child and had to visit a doctor. It was not fun. Recently I had another, did not want to go to a doctor again, so tried to find an OTC med. Everywhere I went, they were sold out, but found some quicky on Amazon. It really helped right away, and before long I was able to cut and remove the ingrown nail because my toe was no longer swollen and sore. I have had no problem since! This is truly an excellent product that I highly recommend to anyone who has this problem.

There is No gel inside the box

Great product. Can't buy it in Canadian pharmacy.
