Young Marine Circuit Breaker for Boat Trolling with Manual Reset,Water Proof,12V- 48V DC

The product seems nice and well built, but it failed completely when used for a trolling motor after 5 or 6 fishing trips. This left me working on the boat instead of fishing, and was very early in the life of the breaker for failure.

Using this circuit breaker on my kayak for a trolling motor with a 12 volt 35AH battery. Attached it to my battery box so I can remove the entire battery setup, box and all wiring with ease. It also works as my battery cutoff switch so I can keep it all connected while transporting to the water and with the push of a button I can kill all power to motor regardless of the speed selector setting. Once at the water edge, open the hatch and flip it back on and away I go. Makes for a completely portable setup with this CB as the main component to protect my gear.

When you spend $1500 on a Minn Kota I-Pilot trolling motor for your boat, best to follow the instructions. they recommended putting it on a 60amp breaker. I added this to protect my investment. It has a manual reset that works well.

This was a replacement breaker for a 60 am minn kota breaker that started tripping at less than 60 amp draw. This happened after 5 years so the product was find but just failed with age. This Young Marine breaker appears to be the exact same breaker however it includes a small button that you can use to disengage/open the circuit. This is a nice feature. The Young Marine breaker went in just fine (using the existing holes) and works great. I am very happy with this product, especially for the price. I saved about $20 over the name brand option.

I have used these before. So much easier than old style in line fuses for stereo equipment. Match the amp rating to your wire size and good to go. You don’t want a over size breaker that could potentially overload your wire. I have this breaker in my jeep truck and boat. Will buy again for the next stereo upgrade.

Can't test it. It say it was good or even if it. Stand the test of time.. that where it. Fail.. broke. When installing... plastic too brittle unless u. Planning in using tape of glue as a morning option.. avoid this 12v breaker. Product was returned

After tripping my older original breaker way too many times over the years I upgraded to this one. Gone are the days of waiting for the "reset" of the old one. This one is a game changer, doesn't trip at all on long high speed runs of the trolling motor.

Using this as a circuit breaker for my 24VDC Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor, we'll see how long it lasts as I use it more as an on/off switch each time I take the boat out and deploy the motor.
