Nice device, but only about half the capacity claimed.
It's frustrating to only have bought-and-paid-for reviews to go by, so here's mine. It's a nice little device, but the battery is only half the size it claims to be. Also, the 12v output is completely unregulated, so you may get anywhere between 16v (full charge) and 10v (almost empty). I didn't measure the 5v USB outputs, but I'd assume they will be regulated 5V/500ma to meet the USB spec.My first attempt to use this device was as a power supply for my CPAP machine while camping. I've measured my CPAP load at between 16W-20W, depending on whether I'm inhaling or exhaling, so I did a bit of quick math (20W/12v * 8hr * 1000mA/A == 13,333mAh), and thought that even in the worst case (20W), I'll get more than 8hrs of use. Instead, it quit after 5hrs of use. So being as generous as I can, that's 20W/12v * 5hr * 1000mA/A == 8,333mAh -- less than half the battery's rated capacity. This thing should be rated for 8.5Ah, not 16.8Ah.

Way cool!
I have used this charger on my John Deere tractor and it has plenty of power and runs that starter well. I like the battery meter that tells me the remaining charge in the unit. It is light and small enough to put anywhere. Sure beats the old battery kind that was heavy and combersome. Way to go technology!!

Awesome battery jumper/12v power source/USB device charger
Awesome battery jumper/12v power source/USB device charger. Already used it to jump start our SUV and worked without a hitch. This is $30 less than all the other devices that look exactly the same, but with different labels. Verify the Amps and MaH ratings, this matches up to all the others at a better price. Great value and performance!

Great product
Received the product on time as expected. It works great. I use it on my lawn tractor and it fires up first time every time. I'm thinking about getting another one.

Excellent jump starter with extras
This is a review of a free product. I received this jump starter free for the purpose of review. What you're getting with this order:(1) Jump Starter(1) set battery clips/cables(1) Cigarette lighter charger (barrel pin)(1) AC adapter (barrel pin)(1) Cigarette lighter extension (to barrel pin)(1) USB- 4 head adapter (lighting, 30 pin, micro-USB, mini-USB)(1) User's Guide(1) Zippered carry caseWhat is this and why might I want it?: These jump starters began appearing in this small, external battery form in 2015 and have been one of my favorite discoveries on Amazon. There are many to choose from, mostly with very similar function so take your time and find one with the features and especially the price that you want. These have several abilities, first to jump-start a battery on your automobile. A full charge, if you use it for nothing else in between, will jump your car around 20 times. It will also hold that charge for over 3 months (this is the time period that a recharge is recommended even if you've never used it in those 3 months). In addition, it can be used as a power bank to charge your phone or tablet, and has a flashlight function which may come in handy during an emergency. Probably the easiest way to explain the benefit of this product is to say that it eliminates the need for a second car when a jump start is needed,.Does it work?: Yes. I've tested a great many of these and given many to family and friends. They all function in pretty much the same way, you just need to make sure the one you buy is big enough for the job you're asking it to do. This one is among the best I've tested as it's appropriate for nearly all engine sizes. So, if you're looking for one for your truck or SUV, this model is large enough to get the job done. I've found that I use these jump starters to help others far more often than I've needed them myself, and it's nice to know that with this one I can help just about anyone. How does it work?: A pair of jumper cables will look familiar, though obviously much shorter than the old school cables you've carried. One end plugs into the jump starter while the clamps to red to positive, black to negative. Power the unit on and then start your vehicle. It's that simple as that.I mentioned before that I've tested many of these. I have yet to test one that failed at starting a car. Where I have seen them fail is at charging devices. It may seem odd, but charging say, an iPhone 6 plus is much more draining on this battery than is jump starting your vehicle. While you get 20+ jump starts on a full charge. You'll get around 5 and a half charges of that 6 plus if you used this unit for nothing else. Anyway, when these do fail, what I've seen is rapid depletion of the battery when charging a device. This Coolis model charged normally with no failures.Anything else of note?: Flashlight function can help if the process needs to be done in the dark.Any negatives?: People who use it to charge devices AND keep it in the car will need to understand that such use depletes its battery much more rapidly than does a jump start. Except for testing, I don't use these to charge devices as I want it ready to go when I or someone else needs help.Bottom line: This is a sturdy jump starter made for nearly all engine sizes that will give a user up to 20 jumps after a full charge (when it is not used for other charging purposes). It can also be used as a power bank and flashlight should the need arise. On the upper end of power and peak amps (800) for these small, external units, it is priced in the same range as many lesser models. This model merits strong consideration from shoppers looking for a jump starter large enough to start SUVs and trucks and which will allow one to help just about any stranded motorist.
