Being native to China, this deciduous shrub is hardy, heat-loving and 'Blood Red' Mildew resistant perfect from the southern United States. This shrub is a multi-stemmed, dense growing deciduous shrub decorated with dark green foliage that turn a golden yellow-orange in the fall. Clusters of showy, abundant, light lavender flowers bloom from early July to October lasting sometimes anywhere from 4 to 5 months every blooming period. Pruning any spent flowers will prolonged their flowering periods as well. Plant Approximately 5'-6'ft apart to allow growing space for future spread. Abundant blooms will only occur when allowed full sun throughout the day.
