NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Lip Lingerie XXL Matte Liquid Lipstick - Undress'd (Pink Nude)

Where to start this? A lot to pack in! Generally speaking, because we can't post a separate review for each color that we've tried, NYX XXL Matte is fan-freaking-tastic!! Especially for the price. Is it perfect? Not 100%, but it's darn close. IMHO, the only things that could be improved are the transfer factor (more on that in a minute) and the amount of colors they have. Meaning, they don't have nearly enough! 🤨😁 To clarify what I meant about improving the longevity, immediately I must say this product is actually quite excellent at loving me for a long time! Ha, ha! In the drugstore, it's become tied for my #1 spot. Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink is the almost-identical twin to NYX XXL, but it rates much lower on the performance scale. Maybelline has a ton of colors! The two brands even smell the same. I wish the experience had been the opposite, believe me. Yet, if I could only buy one of the two, without question, it would be NYX! When the colors are fairly equal, (like NYX's Stamina vs. Maybelline's Pioneer or NYX's Deep Mesh vs. Maybelline's Composer, for two examples) there isn't hesitation which to reach for because I know NYX isn't going to embarrass me later in the day. In fact, Stamina lasted overnight! It had faded a little bit in the center of both lips when I got out of bed the next morning, but it was still decidedly visible. And it was only visible on my face, not on the pillowcase! 😲 About the formula, NYX XXL is super pigmented, super creamy, smells utterly delicious (like angel food cupcakes) and has a large, terry-like doe foot applicator. It applies like a dream! The applicator is particularly excellent, makes it very easy to add shape correction, enhancement, whatever effect you might want. Liner is mostly rendered useless unless you have a special need or a specific look you're trying to achieve. I would suggest exfoliating lips prior to use, and also making sure they are hydrated, but not greasy on or around their surface. Afterwards, I find it best to keep my lips open and separated until they fully dry, maybe two or three minutes. Then it's all-day gorgeous! 🪞💄 Longevity has always been my #1 criteria. To provide my personal scale of context, Revlon Limitless Matte has overtaken their Overtime Lip Color (the original) to now tie with NYX XXL for my #1 drugstore spot. Revlon changed their Overtime formula somewhere along the way and it isn't quite as ironclad as it was before. The colors are a little thinner now and it just doesn't have the same "pow-wow." As in, "Pow!" that color looks rich and vivid, or "Wow!" look how it lasts! NYX still needs (a tiny bit of) improvement to be truly100% transfer proof like Overtime *used* to be, but it's damn close, and better than plenty of department store brands that cost 3x as much! Lastly, a note on colors, specifically the reds, because I haven't found the depictions to be totally accurate. Color is very subjective, I know, so please take my interpretations for whatever they may (or may not!) be worth. I would describe Stamina as medium depth, neutral-cool red; not quite as intensely blue as TLB's Bawse Lady, but definitely not warm. Sizzlin' is the same shade only deeper/darker, and Untamable is the neutral-warm answer to Stamina. Not orangey, just not cool-toned. All of these shades are handy depending upon what you're trying to match, and they're all beautiful! 😍

Fantastic Product! I read the bad reviews out of curiosity because I love this product so much. A lot of user error. So follow these tips if you want the best longest wear lipstick of your life. 1.) You MUST exfoliate your lips. If they are chapped and cracked and dry. It will flake and peel bc your lips are! 2.) You MUST let it dry fully before sticking your lips on anything! I put my foundation and powder over my lips then apply my lipstick. I then do the entirety of my makeup. By the time I'm done (10-15 min). This is fully dry. And I can eat, drink for 14+ hours without transfer. 3.) You Must apply the color to your entire lip! Which also means the back (almost inner) of your bottom lip and ALL the way down your top lip if you want even application. Don't apply to half your lips, then go suck on a straw and whine about it doesn't look right. You didn't do it right! 4.) If the seal is broken that is the seller fault, not the manufacturer. Learn the difference before leaveing a bad review. (Insert eyeroll here) I adore this lipstick and have worn it for 5 years. It is the ONLY lipstick I wear. I have nearly every single color too. I get asked regularly (almost daily) because I work with the public what kind of lipstick I wear. I was eating and drinking at a restaurant having a great time when a woman interrupted just to ask me about my lipstick. She not only complimented the color but also said she had been watching me drink, take shots (bite the lime), eat wings, pizza and salad and my lipstick didn't budge! I carry this with me everywhere in many different shades because it's easier to show people and let them see the colors and take pictures of the tube than tell them what it is and wait while they search it. This is the only long wear lipstick that doesn't chap my lips in the least. Not one bit. This lipstick is magic and down right sexy. The only time I notice transfer is if I eat oily food like Chinese food, pasta coated in olive oil or something crazy greasy. That's it. So if I eat those foods I'm careful then only have to reapply to the inner portion of my bottom lip. Everything else I scarf down like a man and never worry about my lipstick budging or drying my lips out. Hooded photo is about 30 min after application. Hat photos are after almost 12 hours with no reapplication. Follow the steps and thank me later!

It’s hotter (warm mahogany red) from NYX professional lip lingerie is a very pretty color. Dark red but not the darkest. No kiss transfer. No water bottle transfer. I ate some cottage cheese and no transfer. It goes on really nice. It’s a little thick which I like. But it dries fast so hurry up and fix if you make a mistake applying. It’s a nice matte finish but not drying like some. It comes in a larger tub so the value for the money is good. After supper some transferred off. Enough that i would have to touch up. I have very small lips so maybe on a regular size lip it would come off as much. Overall I liked it. It did leave some on that I needed remover to get it off. I still love it! Give it a try. You might love it too.

This lipstick was absolutely perfect, at first. Love the way it feels on my lips, don't feel it at all. Not dry, not cakey, not sticky, doesn't dry into clumps. Feels like velvet putting on and dries pretty quickly, but not too quickly - easy to fix line errors unlike others. Once dry does not smudge. Easy to wipe off teeth if it gets on there. Excellent color, lasts several hours, without color change. Minimal lip staining after removal. Minimal transfer on beverages. Moderate transfer when eating food that contains fat, but this doesn't smudge it like it does others. Just gets removed from lips. OK, so what I don't like is that after owning this for a mere 2 months, it's rapidly becoming harder to apply in an even way and with crisp lines. I use it exactly once a week. It seems the liquid is starting to dry out and get goopy in the tube. This is disappointing! But I suppose at the low price point, it's acceptable. The only other liquid no-transfer lipstick I've used is Anastasia and those are crappier and more expensive, but I will say some of them will maintain the same quality as new, years into their life, and they are easier to apply and do so with clean lines than this.

I love this product because it reminds me of 90's glam. However, it doesn't crumble and stays put for overnight. Be playful and experiment but know it is there to stay. AI helped me pair this product with Rebel Kind lip liner. Creates an ombre look you can pull off during the day. And awesome for fall evenings. Feather light and doesn't smudge.

It’s such a beautiful, velvety color. It does take a few minutes to dry completely. Once dry, it lasts all day. The applicator glides on gently and blends well with liner (if you use it, but not needed). It removes easily with makeup remover wipes or coconut oil and a cotton ball/pad, not just soap and water. I bought two, and l will buy again.

I have so many nude color lipsticks and have never written a review on them, because they were always too brown or pink or whatever. This color is perfect for my fair skin, and stayed on through dinner, drinks, snack, brushing teeth and in the morning my lips were still tinted and looked very natural. It doesn't dry out your lips, and the price is amazing. I finally found my perfect nude lipstick.

Key points:It is a very dry lipstick, and will blot off, it does stain a little bit. I like the color and the texture, I will say that I don't like how it does bleed a little bit on the edge of my lips into the mirco wrinkles. Also if you use some powder the stickiness does go away. But otherwise it does kinda stay, it doesn't get blotchy until it gets wet. After drinking or eating it will look like a hot mess and will need to be reapplied.

This is a great lipstick. It's soft on the lips, doesn't dry my lips out like other brands and lasts the whole day. Also really easy to remove with your first cleanse

Fits my pale skin nicely, it is easy to apply and soft on the lips leaving a nice matt colour which lasts for a few hours. Good quality at an affordable price. Happy with my purchase.
