There’s hardly a scent to it, but you do have to pump quite a bit to wash your entire face, which is what I was using it for demodex mites. However, it’s supposed to just be used for your eyes so technically you shouldn’t have to pump that much, but it did not irritate my eyes at all. It was very easy to use the foam. This was wonderful. I don’t know about the value for the money because it was kind of pricey in my opinion for the amount you get. It was however, a very effective cleanser, but I just went back to my usual if I were to keep using it the way I was using it. It probably would’ve lasted me close to a month, but not quite. We suggest pumping the tea tree onto a moistened wash cloth (1-2 pumps), and gently rub the lid margin with the wash cloth, then rinse with warm water, so that process usually takes about 2 minutes. There’s really no timeframe the foam needs to be left on for it to be effective. We do recommend the maximum time to be left on being around 2 minutes.
