I find the adapter ring can easily be adjusted, and it stays very secure, I think this is a key advantage to the YC Onion Hood, it is a really good and clever design. Any failure to be level is down to my eyesight!Visually, I find the frame of the hood to be pleasing to view, it's metal and coloration blends very naturally with the X100V where it looks like it is supposed to be there. Having a aluminium hood cover instead of cheap plastic is a nice professional touch by YC Onion. It gently 'clicks' into place, and it feels good and secure once on. What else can I say, I think it is great.
