Do these differ in any way from the Stardust pens?

If you look at the numbers on the actual pens they match up exactly to the numbers on the same color stardust pens. It looks like they're just rebranded for the region, possibly. I think they put it together for the appeal of a "birth stone" set.

Is the glitter the same off-gold that the Stardust pens have, or is it color matched or different in any way?

Yes, they appear to be practically just a repackaging of the Stardust pens. I think they seem to have slightly more glitter and are a shade darker but it's not that much different, to my eye. I was hoping for more of a contrast. The "gold" is still basically yellow. Hope that helps.

Do these show up on black paper?

No, these are Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust colors, which are sparkly. To write on black paper, try fluorescent Moonlight colors or Gelly Roll White.
