Does it help with stretch marks?

I don't know if it would help with stretch marks. The tube is small and I think the area for the stretch marks would be to large to cover.

Mederma Advanced Scar Gel works nicely on reducing the overall appearance of scars, eliminating redness, and improving skin texture. It doesn't work on reducing the appearance of hypopigmentation, though. Generally, users start to see noticeable improvement after about 4 weeks of daily usage, with optimum improvement in 8 weeks.

I have a year old surgical scar, would this help to fade it?

The older the scar the less likely it will do anything but if it is a newer scar ( say last 30 60 days ) this stuff really works well . Wider scars you will see some improvement but don’t expect them to disappear. It is not gonna make a sloppy surgeon look good but will make a good surgeon look great .
