The label reads: exp 260209 does this mean i’ve a 14 yo can? i’m confused

I am no expert in such matters but I suspect that the expiration date is 2026, February(02) 09. The packer probably drops the "20" before "26" because they don't have any cans from 1926 lying around. I'd use the clam juice before 2026 but I think you'll be o.k. Just please check for the standard signs of a bad can, i.e. Swelling at the joints and top and bottom and signs of age. If the can looks older than you are, I'd not use it. I have not had any problems with the many cans of this clam juice that I've bought and used in making very delicious chowder.

If you had an issue with gluten, would you use this product in say, stir fry? (i.e. manufactured with equipment used for products that contain wheat).

I do not have an issue with gluten so I cannot answer that question. I made clam chowder soup with mine. I was afraid it would be to fishy, it was perfect.

This was 11.99 per can 3 months ago. Is the 21.49 price for 2 cans? (After all it contains no clams)???

Why is this item so much cheaper than the exact same item, from the same company in the same size? IS it going to expire soon?

I do not know, but ask the company for a reason! I have found that this brand to be very good, their juice and chopped clams are mostly grit free, tasty and I use them in my 4h of July Clam Chowder and Clam Cakes. Been using this brand for 30 years. tom ray
