Pricey but worth every penny

Muy buena compra Monitor BenQ SW271c llego antes de lo previsto aquí a Valparaiso de Chile, excelente embalaje, supero mis expectativas en todos los ámbitos, recomendado de todas maneras como producto y la compra por Amazon ..

After only three months it stopped working with my MacBook Pro. I had to update the OS and boom, the monitor stopped working with the usbc all of the sudden. I called several times to the brand’s support number and they were unable to help. I kept using it with the HDMI but guess what? You can’t calibrate it like that and all the usb ports stopped working too. Worst investment of my life. After one year of struggling with it, I had to sell it for half the price. Don’t bother and get an Apple.

I haven't purchased this monitor; just wanted to share the info I got from BenQ customer support regarding Post-Width Modulation (PWM). PWM is considered to be an easy (or cost-effective) way to control the brightness, but it has serious drawbacks, such as flicker that may cause eye strain and headaches (most people are ok, but some like me are affected). According to customer support, SW271C does in fact use PWM. The reason it uses PWM is because at low brightness using PWM, the color accuracy and stability is better then DC dimming.

I bought a News MAC Studio fully loaded and wanted a good monitor for my Fashion Photo Studio that we could turn Horizontal & Vertical. From the moment I git the BENQ out of the box it was acting funny. The colors were way oversaturated and it was supposed to have an extensive calibration. The contrast was off too. I used the USB-C connection and it started to flicker. Then the monitor would not wakeup with a keyboard or mouse command. So I kept turning the monitor on and off. Then the BENQ would not respond at all. I pulled out another USB-C cable and hooked it to my other MAC to determine that the USB-C port on the BENQ was broke. I took a HDMI cable from the new MAC to the BENQ and it worked but the color settings changed. TOO many things wrong and I opted to return the monitor and not get another one. I'm going to try the 5K Apple Studio Monitor. Since 85% of my work is delivering in sRGB, I think the MAC 5K monitor will do fine. I'm upset... always wanted a BENQ the SW271C was rated well but the QC is off and I need a monitor that will last. Perhaps others will have better luck. After using a 5K monitor, it's also hard to adjust to the 4K from a workflow perspective. Good luck all

Easily the nicest monitor that I’ve ever used outside of the LG Panels used in Apple devices. You’d be hard pressed to find a better monitor for the price. At just a touch over $2K this is an excellent addition for those extremely budget conscious shoppers like me who only have a little bit of extra cash to spend and need a good value for money purchase. This monitor has really helped me to take photography and design to the next level, and opened up doors for me that might not have opened otherwise if I didn’t have the type of setup this monitor was able to provide me with. 10/10 would recommend.

Entant que photographe professionnel, avoir un BenQ était sur ma bucket list. Je n'ai pas été déçu! Combiné à un Mac Studio, ma productivité et la netteté de l'écran sont améliorés. Je recommande sans hésitation!

This monitor is awesome for photo editing. It arrives fully calibrated and even after checking with my colour calibrater, there was essentially no change. I wish I would have bought a Benq years ago!

Acheter pour de la photographie professionel et je l'adore!! Simple a installer et utiliser. Robuste, super bien emballer.uniformité de la luminosité superbe c'est le bout que je craingnait :) Je suis super heureuse de mon achat!

Je l'utilise pour la photo. La définition de l'appareil, le spectre des couleurs affichés m'impressionnent.
