EDIT/Continuation: controller seems to work great, doesn't have as much torque as my old ones but was a really easy install thanks to the documentation, it gets my bike up to 30 or so mph no problem just doesn't get there as quickly as the other controllers i have used which isn't a problem to me. it works and does what it says it does so no complaints.
