Do these work with water balloon launchers, or do the balloons burst when released?

Yes it can. But just remember not to make it too big or it may break easy.

Can I fill at a sink instead of with a hose?

At our old house I was able to fill them in my kitchen sink that had a very tall faucet, but I had to hold them very tightly to the faucet or else they sprayed EVERYWHERE. And they couldn’t get very big before the weight of all of them was too heavy for my arm, so I did a quick wrist-snap to pop them off and seal them. It worked as a temporary measure for a few weeks because our old hose was weird and had a female attachment on both ends unlike most hoses that have a female end (for connecting to the outdoor faucet) and a male end (for attaching to sprayers and such). When we finally got a new house, I switched to that and it was WAY better. TL/DR - it can be done at a kitchen sink, but it’s certainly not a great Long-term option…..

Quick fun

Easy to fill but it is not noted that you should fill them in a water filled container, which I knew from previous experience. With these, 6 balloons of each cluster, on average, broke while being filled. And that was in a water filled container. Several of the filled balloons developed pin holes and broke before they could be used. Disappointed with that but it is still soooo easy to fill many balloons quickly and have a blast.
