I have very long, extremely thick, fine to medium hair. I used to use a comb to gently brush my hair after a shower, but that took forever, so I switched tot his. I was very weary about this brush, I couldn't imagine it would brush through my thick hair, but it most certainly does and it doesn't damage my hair at all. In fact, after 3 years of using this brush, I firmly believe my hair is far more healthy and stronger that it would be. I also bleach my hair, and have zero breakage from brushing.
