It's thicker, stronger material and a little bigger than I expected. I would have slightly preferred a slimmer, sleeker pack big enough to hold my phone, but let's face it, a fanny pack is not designed to be the most stylish fashion accessory. Don't wear it on a hot date. It's a great unisex hands-free utility bag. I'm going to take it on walks around the park so I can have my phone and/or a bottle of water nearby. Depending on your size, you can clip it either around your waist or crossbody across your chest so it sits at your hips or mid-chest. One note, it absolutely reeked of chemicals from several feet away, like a noxious unpleasant smell that anyone near you will notice. I soaked it in Tide detergent and hot water, rinsed, repeat, hand washed briefly, then threw it in a protective netted lingerie bag in the washing machine along with a blanket. You can still smell the chemicals, but it's far milder and tolerable. It's probably going on another trip through the washing machine before I wear it. Once washed, it does seem extremely sturdy like it will last a long time.

This fanny pack has become something I use quite often on the weekends at camp. I take my dog for a walk every morning we are at camp. This bag has been my best friend on my pup walks. I can fit my huge cell phone, the remote to my dogs e-collar, and a handheld electric dog repellant. I honestly have 2 whole compartments I dont even use. I like that the waist is adjustable. In the sping/summer I need it a bit tighter than I do in the fall, as in the fall I usually have a sweatshirt on. It easily clips on and can be removed with one hand. I have also used this to go to the local fair. I am able to eaily store away my cell phone, cash, and any cards I will need. I even have a bit of space to but something smaller. This bag is nice quality and looks cute. If you need a hands free option to hold your valuables close this is a good option.

I got this for my daughter and she uses it Every Single Day. We don't go anywhere - except for groceries & prescriptions. That doesn't stop her from wearing it around the house though. It's very convenient to carry her phone, her masks, her guitar capo, or whatever else she decides she might need. Although she is skinnier than a bean pole, I was able to loop the end & tuck it so that it will fit her perfectly. Nice! I wasn't sure if I could ever find one capable to do that. If we ever get safe enough to open up, & we can actually Go anywhere, it will come in handy. It has several different pockets in different sizes, can be resized easily & is, apparently, very comfortable to wear. The stitching is excellent & so is the material. That was another worry for me. I'm probably going to get one for myself. The belt can loosen enough to fit even Me & I am over 200 lb. I tried it. So, if you're big, this will work for you too.
