I m used to seeing bent knees or legs stretched, but this little guy sits like I do: one knee bent up, and the other flexed off to the side. I am surprised by how charmed I am! The seller packed this very carefully, and included a note about their family business, as well as contact information and return information should I require further assistance. This piece is not a bronze color but rather a dark matte brown. Although I usually prefer the bronze color, the description of this piece indicated the piece was dark brown in color and the piece is still whimsical and to my mind, a beautiful sculpture.

A: It is about 8 inches tall.

**Q: Can you tell me where this is made?**
A: I know it is imported so we know it was not made in the United States. I’m thinking China. The Danya B collection is beautiful and interesting; I’ve collected several pieces and have not been disappointed. Please not this piece is NOT one of their bronze look pieces, rather it is a darker metal without much sheen. Having said that, I still think it is the perfect piece for my reading loft.

**Q: How would this hold up outside? Available in bronze?**
A: This item is not available in bronze, only in iron. It is meant for indoor use. It will eventually rust outdoors.

**Q: is this item suitable to hanging?**
A: No, this item is designed to sit on a shelf or table. It has no flat side to lay flush against a wall. We do however have wall sculptures in this collection.

I gave this to my 29 yr old son for Christmas and he loved it. It looks just like him when he reads, which he does whenever he can. He doesn't normally like knickknacks, but is making an exception for this one. It is very solid and heavy. It was a thoughtful gift.
