Can you ship without the heavy box? The shipment goes through a freight forwarder and they charge based on the weight

The Inspire underpads extra large 36 x 36 ship in a box in order to protect the product.

Can the pads be cut for recliner size without effecting absorbency ?

The absorbency will not be effected, However by cutting them you may have an issue with liquid running off the pad, as you will not have the edge of the pad in the area that you cut. One advantage of Inspire Extra Large Disposable Underpads (also known as "chux") is their size, measuring 36 x 36 inches. This larger size provides more coverage and protection for beds, chairs, and other surfaces, making them ideal for use in hospitals, nursing homes, healthcare facilities and at home. You may want to try our 30 x 36 Inspire Underpad as it may fit better. Another advantage of these underpads is that they are disposable, which makes them convenient and easy to use. They can be quickly and easily replaced as needed, reducing the need for laundry and other maintenance.

Do these contain an attractant for pets?

I believe its use is for humans, nothing in box says anything about pets, there is no odor or smell in pads.

Is there any cotton in product?

The pads work well. They have an aqua plastic style backing and a thin cotton surface that faces the patient. I would repurchase them.
