Fits great on my 2024 Macan. Can’t even tell it’s there. Took me and my husband about 30-40 minutes to install. The majority of that time was being extremely cautious in removing the light console and watching videos to make sure we did it just right. The camera is plug and play and once we tucked in the wires, it was very easy to put everything back together. Camera works great, video looks really good. App was easy to setup. The OEM look of the camera makes it worth the cost.

I installed the FitcamX 4K Dash Cam in my 2022 Porsche Taycan 4S, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Installation was quick and straightforward, and the design integrates perfectly with the vehicle’s interior. Once installed, it is completely discreet—I genuinely cannot tell it is there. It looks factory-installed, which is exactly what you want in a car like the Taycan. The video quality is very clear and performs reliably in both daytime and nighttime driving. For the price, this dash cam does a great job and delivers strong value without compromising on quality or aesthetics. It provides peace of mind while maintaining the clean, premium look of the car. I would confidently recommend this product to any Taycan owner looking for a well-designed, easy-to-install dash cam solution.

Love the 4K resolution, OEM appearance, and no need to route power cables to a fuse panel. 4 stars instead of 5 because Fitcamx web site did not have correct installation video for my model Porsche Cayenne (Model A Fitcamx). Video with written instructions with photos would be very helpful. Installation took 1.5-2 hours, but I was very careful in removing the three trim pieces (one with air bag lights, one transition piece to the rear view mirror mount, and one that covers the bottom of the rear view mirror mount). Camera kit came with metal prying tools for removing trim, but I ordered a set of plastic tools from Amazon (GOOACC 5 piece set) that reduces the risk of getting scratches. Most challenging part of installation was removing and reinstalling the rear view mirror bracket to the rain sensor mount. It was easy, however, once I realized that it removes easily with about 20 degree counterclockwise twist and goes back on with a similar 20 degree offset to press it on, and then rotate clockwise to lock it in place. I ended up removing and reinstalling it a few times as I determined the best way to tuck and route the cables. Camera operation is simple and starts automatically when the car is started. The camera generates an individual video file for each minute of operation, so you'll end up with many files to sort through or download if you want to review a trip. I'd prefer the camera generated a larger file (5 or 10 minutes duration). The camera's wifi is 2.4 Ghz, so downloading takes some time to your cell phone using the Fitcamx app. Much faster to simply remove the cameras sd card and download directly to your computer. All-in-all, very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend if for those Porsche fanatics wanting an OEM look.

This dashcam exceeded my expectations. It is stealth (you don't know it is there), clean looking, no wires shown, OEM like, and has a cellphone app to download video/picture. The installation is not easy, but not too difficult if you know what you doing, since you don't want to damage any pieces removed, so do take your time for it. The instruction video included is adequate, but needs a few more details, especially where to use the pry tool to remove these overhead plastic covers. 1. To remove front large cover next to reading light is easy, just pry and push forward (towards windshield). 2. To remove the smaller cover for rain censor is also relatively easy, just pry the mid section (with securing tab), it will pop loose. 3. To remove the mirror from its base is hard, you need to use some force, CCW twist the mirror very hard to dislodge it. 4. To remove the mirror back cover is easy, once the mirror is dislodged from its base, just slightly expand two side's plastic cover it will pop out. 5. Locate the 3 pin wire connector (power supply) and pull it out from the base connector. 6. Connect dashcam's female connector with this 3pin connector (power supply), and then connect the 3pin connector (male) from the dashcam to the base connector (supply power to rain censor). 7. Replace the OEM mirror back cover with the dashcam (integrated with the mirror back cover) and attach/click the dashcam to the mirror. 8. Re-attach the mirror with the dashcam back cover to the rain censor base, CW twist it on, just hand tight is enough. 9. Test the dashcam to ensure you have power before re-attach the small cover and the large cover with reversed removal steps above, and you are DONE. This is a great product design idea. It integrates dashcam with the rain sensor/rear view mirror back cover, so that no wires dangling around, very OEM look. It has good video quality, easy to download video clips, either with an app via Wifi connection, or just pop out micro SD card and insert it into provided USB C card reader, very convenient. It does take some time to install, but it is well worth, as you get a clean OEM look dashcam and stealth. A well earned 5-star product.

Was kind of difficult to hook up, but looks great and is user friendly. Picture quality is good, not great. Overall I like it, especially the flush, stock look. Update- I'm dropping this to one star. I needed an incident that occurred in front of me. The camera recorded before and after the incident, but not what I needed. There was a 40 second gap between videos. Defeats the purpose if it may or may not be recording when you need it!

Works outstanding, very pleased. Installation video was helpful and 100% necessary for me... by watching it carefully, I was able to get it done without breaking any of the tabs. The installation took me about 1.5 hours (due to very tight spaces) and it was worth it because everything worked the first time and all of the 'realignments' were perfect.

Love this Dash cam, but it was a little bit of a challenge finding the connections in my vehicle, as the video wasn’t as specific as it could have been.

Another 2023 Cayenne reviewer said it doesn't work because you need specialized tools, which is not true. The plastic prying tool that comes in the box gets the panels off and I used a tiny flathead to pop the clip that holds that midsection panel in place. Same clip type is used to secure the red ribbon on the first panel. There is a detailed review on here with the blue and red circled photos that significantly helped. Watch a few videos to see from different angles. I am a mechanically inept female and I was able to install and button up within an hour. With some trial and error, a big tip is to attach the camera cable so it's on the outer right side of the wires. This will allow for the 2nd panel to fit back on. Overall, it looks great and the app is easy to use. As stated in the guide, turn off bluetooth and cellular data when trying to initially connect your phone to the camera's wifi.

We have had dash cams in all our cars for some time. Most have a really untidy after market look about them and some of them are loaded with too many features, which you pay a lot extra for. We just wanted one that could provide evidence in the event of an accident. This is as neat as you can get as it fits in the housing that contains the rain sensor behind the rear view mirror. This is fitted to our Porsche 911 / 992 and looks much neater than the "official" Porsche dashcam we have in our Panamera. I did pay to have it professionally fitted and I do recommend ordering the polarising lens with it. The auto electrician who fitted it told me he was also fitting a lot of these to Audis as they use the same rain sensor housing and, like Porsche, charge the earth for their own label dash cam.

Good quality of video, easy to install, I'm offer only 4 stars because in my opinion it is a bit expensive.
