It comes with a manual on how to play the expansion pack. The expansion pack itself works perfectly and is really fun. There are tons of new clothing items in create a sim when you use this expansion. There are also new lipstick and eyeshadow colors. You can sell any items from your sim's house. You can also buy an actual building for your business. If you chose to have a salon, you actually get to do the customer's hair and makeup, which is really fun. Kids can have lemonade stands.
