Exactly what I was looking for!
I picked up a sheet of this while looking for some gripshon for a knife that had some fairly slick 6061 hard-anodized aluminum scales (Cold Steel Code 4). I made the patterns (both sides), transferred it to the sheet (face down) and cut them out. I cleaned the scales 3 times with alcohol and let it dry fully each time. I got the transfers in the proper place and stuck them down, then heated with a hair dryer for about 30 seconds mashing down on it as I worked the dryer paying close attention to all edges. This thing sticks like a demon and it is the perfect amount of grip that I was looking for. It took an already fantastic knife and made it even better through functionality, and it shows no sign of letting loose after many times in and out of my pocket via the pocket clip. If you're curious, I think you can get about 4 fairly large knives (both sides) out of each sheet with more for smaller knives. I have no hesitation recommending this product provided you follow the simple instructions of cleaning and heating after placement.

Nice but pricey for what it is
Works great. A little too much money for what it is. Still it’s a great product and makes a great grip

A little pricey, but good quality and does the job
Just received this and immediately applied it to my extended magazines, support hand thumb rest area, and even the pinky rest area on my standard magazines. It transformed my pistol into something I have much more confidence in controlling and performing follow up shots. I shoot a 10mm compact XDM Elite and the grip texture is was too slippery for the power of a 10mm round. Without even shooting the pistol, my grip is now secure and firm. The texture of the granulate version is just like sand paper. This may not be good for appendix or IWB carry as it will irritate the skin and will snag clothing easily. However, for application to the extended magazine ends and adding a few patches to critical areas on the pistol frame and maybe the front and rear straps of the grip, I think this grip texture works very well. I absolutely recommend that you heat the tape before applying ( you’ll notice that the tape becomes “floppy” when it’s heated enough before applying), then after applying, heat the tape again and press firmly on all areas to really seat the adhesive and tape to your pistol gear. Repeat the heating process another 2x and it will be perfect. No need for a hair dryer or heat gun, which is often recommended. I just used the heat of my gas stove to warm everything to the temperature of very warm but not hot. Just remember to make sure the firearms are completely unloaded and safe.

Great grip.
I love this product, both the pre cut for you pistol and now this which let you cut to your specifications. Highly recommend.

Used on a BP40CC and looks better than pre-cut.
So finally had the time to make my grips for my BP40CC. I used blue tape as a template for one half of the grip (use the poly mating lines) and then mirrored it for the other side, added a length that would wrap all the way around the finger side and half way back across the left grip. This would keep my fingers from catching the edge and causing premature lifting/peeling of the edge. If left at the finger area, right palm swell (left for lefties) or rear of the grip, your fingers and/or hand will constantly be rubbing on the seam and cause early lifting of the edge. Remember this as I feel its the second most common reason for early failure and why I dont really like the 'pre-cut' grip tapes. I then cut the shape with a scalpel as one continuous piece. Cleaned the grip and gun with a paper towel soaked in rubbing alcohol, then the grip area again, again with a clean paper towel, making absolutely sure to get it very clean in all the little dips and valleys in the stippling. This is probably the most important part and the #1 cause of a great many of failures. Get it CLEAN. I then slowly wrapped it around the grip, starting at the left finger center line, matching it to the contours and lines as I went. Use a hairdryer on Hot temp, Low air to make the tape a little more pliable and easier to manage. Only takes a couple of seconds of heat. Dont press down on the tape at this point, however, as you may need to reposition it. I ended up needing relief cuts at the top and bottom of the rear grip (butt). Just cut 2 shallow 'vees'. It would have pleated (folded) if I didnt, especially at the bottom, but that one was small enough that it closed back up. Once done, heat up the tape with the hairdryer and press it down firmly. I used about 20 seconds of heat per area, then did it again this time making sure it contoured to the front and rear stippling grooves with my finger nails. Just 'cause I liked it, not that you have too. I then cut out the thumb areas, again using blue tape, and applied those. See pics. Only been a few days, but I have more than a dozen draws on it, and so far its holding up. Feels good in the hand and definitely gives a better grip. Feel much more comfortable shooting now. edit: re-uploaded pics. Not sure where they went.

Another great product from Talon Grips.
This product is exactly as advertised. If you’re familiar with Talon grips for firearms, this is the same (rubber) material. These sheets can be cut and customized to wrap around other items that need some extra traction. I put a piece on the handle of my Buck 119 fixed blade knife. It is awesome now! I only used about half of the sheet.
