I teach middle school STEM. We have been doing some cardboard engineering. I bought the entire makedo set even though it is kinda marketed for kids younger than mine. As they were struggling to find a way to connect their cardboard, I kept suggesting the makedo but didn't require them to use it. Finally, a student used it and WOW is all I can say! It is an awesome way to connect and build - super sturdy. Way better than hot glue, duct tape etc. Just a great set of tools to foster creativity, critical thinking, and engineering!

I purchased this for my 5 year old who has a new obsession with cardboard boxes. She started using it immediately and has been inspired to use it virtually every day since. I love that such a small, simple tool can inspire so many ideas. It's safe for her little fingers to use independently so I don't have to monitor her super close when she's creating.

This tool works perfect with the Makedo Scrus. The children in my class love to connect different pieces of cardboard by using the tool and specialty screws. Great tool for open-ended experiences!

It’s intuitive tool and kids friendly, not very sharp but still does the work. Create more opportunities to design different projects.The cons is also the pros, not so sharp, so you need to push harder to create the folding line, which is fine with me.

If your kids are like mine, they quickly get bored of their toys, and it's annoying to have all that *junk* and see one's children pay more attention to Amazon boxes -until you realize that there are child-safe toys to step up their game and get truly creative and really build something. I'm so happy I found makedo. I bought tool by tool, but at this point, I hope I had bought the entire package with as many scrus as I could.This tool, in particular, is great for transforming/folding cardboard and getting really creative. It is a great toy every parent should get.

We already own the starter kit from the same brand but was missing that tool. We are very happy we order it because it is really simple to use and do a very good job for shaping cardboard. My 4 year old tried for do a cardboard bridge and manage to safely do so. Y himself.I am very pleased with the product

Makedo tools are awesome. This one should be included in the basic kit as it's a basic one. My kid (3) needs some help so the marks are deep enough, but because he's under the recommended age. However, he loves using his Makedo tool kit (under supervision and some help) and playing with his new toys!
