These sunglasses are for driving. The anti-glare is meant for sunlight, not computer screens. They're used by people who've had their pupils dilated or cataract surgery, or just have a high sensitivity to bright sun light.

Q: the glasses help block reflective sun glare from cars? do they also help reduce the ridicuously bright headlights some drivers have during the night?

These glasses are great for night driving to reduce glare from lights. I'm very happy with them....so much so that I got a pair for a relative and she loves them too! I highly recommend them

Q: Exactly how large are these glasses. I was looking for medium.

I would say the height of the lenses is aprox 1 1/2 inches or 3.8 cm. They're not large.

Q: Will these glasses work for after cataract surgery?

I believe they will. My mother has had cataract surgery and also has scarred cornea's from chemotherapy. She absolutely loves these glasses. They provide great surround coverage and protection from the sun. She even wears them on cloudy days. They're sturdy and not as big and bulky as other post-op glasses. Nothing screams "old age" like those large bug-eyed glasses.
