Is this good for eel boots?

I have only used it on snake, turtle, and lizard, and am very pleased. I would think eel would be ok?

I have a very light color pair of lizard boots. Will this conditioner darken them?

I’ve used this on a variety of reptile skins (lizard, python) and it’s never altered the appearance negatively or darkened them. Black, Cognac, light grey…

Is this also a water repelant?

It's predominately a moisturizing cream with some light wax protection, but not like a traditional shoe was as that would clog the reptile scales. Saphire makes an aerosol spray for water protection.

where are the instructions on using this product? Is it written in English?

The instructions are pictorial on the box...basically read/interpret as, but I'm adding my knowledge/experience: Brush/wipe off any dirt/dust in the direction of the scales...always work in the direction of the scales or you will damage them causing scales to lift/tear/flake. Apply product with soft cloth in direction of the scales. Wait 5-10 minutes or so, then gently polish off with soft clean cloth (like flannel) going only with the direction of the scales. It cleans, moisturizes and polishes leaving a nice shine/gloss. Most sites on reptile skin products (boots, handbags, etc) suggest treating/moisturizing your item once per year so scales don't dry out, lift and flake. This may darken the over-all appearance if the item you're working on is dry to begin with. Store in breathable container away from heat, light, moisture, chemicals, dogs/cats, etc.
