I bought this on a recommendation from the E46Fanatics website to re-glue the faux-leather wrap on the seat backs of my BMW 3-series sedan. It had begun peeling back from the paper-board formed back. In this application, you want to apply the product to both faces, let it set up to tacky for 5-15 minutes (depending on temp) before clamping for 12-36 hours (temp dependent). You can see by my pics that I applied it to one side, gently pressed it together to trade some adhesive with the opposite face, and then waited for about ten minutes before clamping. This adhesive will last twice as long as the stuff used at the factory. Another application I used it for was to temporarily seal a torn rear window on a Z3 convertible. I added a picture of the damage it successfully repaired, but I don't have an after pic. I am confident it will last this way and be 100% waterproof for a few years, even though the top will be replaced this summer. It's also a great adhesive for trim pieces, but use just a TINY bit, or it will be fairly permanent, and you want to be able to remove trim sometimes.

I grabbed this because my old car’s door gasket kept peeling off and whistling on the highway. I’m renting and can’t afford random mechanic trips, so I watched a quick YouTube video and tried fixing it myself. The tube is small but it goes a long way. I cleaned the rubber, ran a thin bead, waited a minute, then pressed the gasket back on. It stayed. It’s pretty stringy so you have to work kind of fast, and it smells strong for a bit, but it works realy well once it cures.

I’d recommend wearing gloves and having some paper towels handy—it can get a bit messy if you’re not careful. But the bond is super strong, and it saved me from replacing the whole seal. Great product for car repairs or anything rubber-to-metal. Would definitely buy again.
