Big, Sturdy Scoop That’s Useful Far Beyond the Kitchen
Big, Sturdy Scoop That’s Useful Far Beyond the Kitchen This is one of those simple tools that does exactly what you want it to do, and it does it well. The scoop is generously sized at 64 ounces, so it moves a lot of material in one pass without feeling awkward or flimsy. I originally looked at it as a utility scoop for food-related use, but it’s easy to see why people use this kind of scoop for everything from ice and pet food to salt, seed, pellets, and general garage or yard tasks. What stood out to me most is how sturdy it feels. Even though it’s lightweight, it doesn’t come across as cheap or bendy. The one-piece style and solid handle make it comfortable to grip, and the shape makes pouring much easier than using a bowl or smaller scoop that tends to spill along the way. It feels like a practical, commercial-style tool rather than a throwaway household accessory. The size is a real advantage if you regularly move larger quantities of dry goods. It makes quick work of filling bins, transferring ice, scooping feed, or portioning bulk materials. I also like that the smooth surface should make cleanup easy, especially for something that may get used in different settings. Another plus is the versatility. Even though it’s marketed for food service and ingredient use, this is the kind of scoop that can earn a permanent place in a pantry, garage, laundry room, workshop, or backyard shed. It’s the sort of item you buy for one purpose and then end up reaching for all the time. A couple things to keep in mind: this is a large scoop, so it may be bigger than necessary if you only want something for small pantry jars or light-duty kitchen use. Also, despite the product description mentioning high heat resistance, I would still be cautious with very hot liquids or leaving it sitting in hot cookware. For most people, this will shine best with ice, dry goods, feed, pellets, salt, or other bulk materials rather than direct high-heat cooking tasks. Overall, this feels like a well-made utility scoop that should last a long time and handle more than its simple appearance suggests. Bottom line: a durable, roomy, easy-to-use scoop that works especially well for bulk materials and everyday utility tasks. It’s simple, sturdy, and very handy to have around.

Perfect for Bailing Melted Snow and Slush
Snow and ice were melting, and water was pooling at the dip in my driveway. Temperatures were going to freeze overnight so I knew it would be a skating rink in the morning. I went to my shed to get a bucket to bail the water when what did I see but this utility scoop that I had bought to use for grass seed. I grabbed the scoop and went back to the driveway. It is PERFECT for bailing the water up. The absolutely ideal shape and (for my limited strength) the perfect size. In subsequent days I have used this to scoop broken-up ice and slushy ice. It's a workhorse. Just wish it came in a color so I could find it more easily in the whitescape here when I set it down! I'm ordering a second one as backup. I do not want to be without this thing.

Great buy
We use this everyday for feeding the chickens. Works great for that and reduces the mess compared to when we used large plastic cups. It weighs nothing, is very sturdy and well made. Great buy on our end!

Good
Large scoop so the size cuts down on time. Wish there was a stainless option too in the same shape.

Perfect Size for Spreading Sidewalk Salt
I bought this to use for spreading sidewalk salt, and it’s been exactly what I needed. One full scoop is the perfect amount for our steps and walkway, and it makes distributing the salt quick and easy without a lot of mess and waste. We’ve had an extreme winter, so having this simple, sturdy tool on hand has been a big help. It does the job well and makes a cold, annoying task much more manageable.

Off books usage
Very useful as a Iliostomy bag clean out receptacle. The shape and handle make it perfect for that. Black color would be nice but still works as-is.

Perfect for scooping pellets into our pellet stove
I was originally trying to find an old school all metal feed scoop, but they are really hard to find or else stupid expensive. This actually worked out much better because with the width it makes it easier to pour the pellets into the hopper. Works perfect for the use as I intended.

Good scoop
I use this scoop to spread road salt on my sidewalk and driveway in the winter. It is large enough to scoop a fair bit of salt and sturdy enough to handle the job. It is probably more money than some people would be willing to pay, but I went through two "cheaper" scoops in the past so decided to spend a bit more money to get something more durable for the job. So far so good. It's only been a few months, but I think this one will last a long time.

It is okay
Nice scoop, thought it was bigger and more industrial for the price. I will see how it spreads salt and holds up.
