I bought 2 flower coloring but the ones in this book just 'spoke' to me. I like that the name of the flower is opposite the flower. That helps to look up the coloring schemes. The black side of the pages should help with transfer when I do other mediums. So far, i have not had issues with the paper. It's not thick paper but it's also not overly think, imo. It's a nice sized book. It doesn't have an excess of background to have to color if one wishes to color the background. Also, it doesn't have teeny tiny detail like another one that I ordered/received.I'm enjoying the coloring in it so far. I would buy it again once I finish this book, or even as a gift!Be sure to put a couple sheets of paper behind the page you're coloring to prevent the black from transfering to the page behind it.

This is the best coloring book I ever bought. This particular coloring book has extra detail, showing you were to put your shading, shadows and highlights. This book is a must-have for people who are learning or need help learning how and where to do shading, shadows and highlighting. Each page is a beautiful spread of a complete botanical. The pages in this book are appropriately designed with one-sided prints so you don't have to worry about smudging or ruining the other page opposite your work. Paper gets slightly damp when using a spray fixative, but it quickly dries clear. The paper may seem a bit thin, but it takes to both oil and waxed (prismacolors) very well.I plan on buying another one of these coloring books.

I love these adult coloring books. I like to keep my hands busy, and it is relaxing. I like using good water colored pencils. They can be used dry, but I like to dip the pencil's tip in a a bit of water. This book has lovely flowers. I am 70, and I love them. This is a nice book for flower lovers. I have purchased many adult coloring books from Amazon. They would make a great gift for anyone who can't get out much because of a disability, or one in a nursing home. They help with fine motor skills, and creativity. These books would be a good past time from people from age 15-80. I always check out the size of books, and you can usually find several pictures that the book has inside of it.. The size of this book is a favorite. Amazon has a great variety.

I love the designs in this coloring book, but there is a downside: If you're coloring with any amount of pressure (colored pencils, crayons, etc) the black back of the page transfers onto the following page (or, in my case, 2-3 pages after). See photo. Very frustrating, I love the designs of the book but I wish I'd known this ahead of time. The 2 pages after the one I'm working on are now ruined, and I'm now putting printer paper between each of the 3 pages that follow the one I'm working on to try to prevent this. Overall, decent book, but the design is irritating and I wish they'd mentioned this could happen!

Good to pass the time

So I’m using sharpie markers. At first I thought this was going to be like old crappy coloring book. You know like an old coloring book Thin pages horrible saturation. but I was totally wrong the saturation is so beautiful it almost looks like it was painted at least with a sharpie markers anyways, it is so evenly saturated that you can’t even tell whether it’s paint or marker as long as you color that all at once you know you can’t stop wait 10 minutes and go begin where you left off because then yes you will see that where you stopped and began but if you continuously color it’s gorgeous. I need to know what kind of paper this is made of if anyone could tell me that would be great

The drawings are cute. The pages are thin I have markers that I use and they bleed through the page. They feel a little bit like newspaper. Maybe good for colored pencils.

This flower colouring book was such a relaxing and enjoyable purchase. The illustrations are beautiful and detailed without being overly complicated, so it’s fun to colour whether you want something simple or more creative. One of my favourite parts is that each page includes the name of the flower, which makes the book feel more thoughtful and educational at the same time. The pages are high quality and the designs are varied, so it never feels repetitive. Definitely a great colouring book for anyone who loves flowers or wants a calming hobby.

I have both the Flower & Fruit books in this series and each of them is beautiful. The illustrations are extremely well done and do not have too many heavy black lines and patterning that is too small to colour properly as some others do. These illustrations are true to nature and allow you to shade and contour as you prefer. I really love trying to make them as realistic as possible.Each page has a black backing and I would advise placing a sheet of blotting paper or similar behind that as I found that after completing my first picture, I had a black shadowed outline of it on the next illustration - this could be removed with the use of a pencil eraser but I now use blotting paper to prevent this.These are beautiful books and I will be looking for others in the series soon.

Meine Nichte mit 13 Jahren hat gerade ihre kreative Phase entdeckt und sich dieses Malbuch gewünscht.Das Buch ist hochwertig verarbeitet mit weißem Papier, glattem Papier. Die Vorlagen sind alle toll gestaltet und meine Nichte nutzt es in Verbindung mit Holzstiften die auf dem glatten Papier gut funktionieren. Ob das auch mit Aquarellfarben so gut funktioniert kann ich nicht sagen. Haben wir nicht getestet. Die Motive sind alle wunderschön und das ein oder andere Motiv kann sicher später einen Platz an der Wand finden. Viele Blumen sind übrigens auch mit dem Namen versehen... allerdings nur auf Englisch. Merkt man schon am Produkttitel. Auch wenn das Buch eher für Erwachsene gedacht ist, kann es sicher für jedes Alter verwendet werden.

Grafiche carine.Qualità scadente poiché qualsiasi cosa facciate su un foglio, si trasferisce su altri 5/6 fogli… peccato!

I loved this colouring book because each page had a drawing that was a pleasure to colour in. I used both watercolour pencils and some oil based pencils as the paper quality was good. Definitely worth adding this one to your collection of colouring books.
