Great value gels
I love these gels and use them all the time. Great for marathon/half marathon runners, nice juicy flavours and a bargain compared to so many others. Only issue I have is they're not the easiest to open whilst running (I decant them into a pouch before my run so it doesn't affect my speed). Other than that they're great, you can definitely feel the carb "hit".

Very quick acting glucose
I use these for hypos as a type 1 diabetic, they work within 5-10 minutes and taste decent enough. Cheaper than the alternatives too.

Good value gels and perfect for first time marathon runners that may not have previously used Gels. Not at 'thick' as many alternatives and easy to take when on the move.

Works quickly when needed for diabetic 'crash'
As type 1 diabetic I always carry one when on a journey (especially during hot weather) when needed a sachet works very well and very quickly. I used to carry glucose tablets but find they go hard and dry out and when needed the result was slower. One carried in rucksack leaked and left a sticky mess (like melted boiled sweet) but residue easily removed and washed off, now carry in a small plastic bag. Pricey but worth the reassurance.

Terrible packaging design
I have been a long time user of these gels and the gel in itself remains great. The new packaging, however, is made from such thick material, is so difficult to open and leaves a double thickness flap of packaging folded over making it all but impossible to effectively consume the contents... I have found I either leave a load of gel in the packet, get sticky gel all over my hands or sometimes both. There is absolutely no way this new packaging was trialed with proper humans doing things like running or cycling, these guys really need to have another go at their packaging design... I have changed brands for this reason alone.

Great hypo treatments
As a type 1 diabetic, these gels have been a lifesaver for me! They're perfect for treating hypoglycemia. The packaging is easy to open and they're easy to carry around too. The gels themselves are a nice consistency and taste nice.
