Great for a mets fan!
I bought this for my son who just started Little League and because we are HUGE Mets fans. It fits him perfectly and allows him to feel that he can confidently Cath the ball and keep it in his glove without slipping out. My son is a very tall 7 year old and the 10" glove works well for him. I would highly recommend for your little Mets fan!

Good for young kids
This is a small glove. Good for a 4-6 year old. It is very soft leather that makes it easy to open and close, which is good for younger kids. You don’t need to break it in.

How do you play for the Red Sox without a Red Sox glove?
You don’t! My 6yo is obsessed with this glove. I’m happy for it because it’s encouraging him to practice more. It’s not as high quality as Wilson. It’s likely to only last the season (for size reasons), but good enough for now.
