Will it fit a 9" grinder

Yes but the power/kick from my 9" tightens it past hand tight, meaning you can't undo it by hand.

Locks down and unlocks by hand there are two holes for the normal pin wrench to undo the lock ring if by chance you can’t undo it by hand…. Hope this helps
