No major complaints about the product, but not exactly super-pumped about it either. It's a very large cushion, a little smaller than a large dog bed. It's decently comfortable to sit on, and I like that the cover is removable for easy washing. However for just being a large pillow/dog bed it's a bit overpriced (hence the 4 star review). I use it every now and then for a bit of meditation, but mostly it's for sitting on while reading in my corner, or while journaling. For my purposes, I feel like I could have purchased a simple dog bed that would have looked and functioned similarly, for half of the cost (you can get large comfy dog beds at Costco for ~$27-$30). That being said, it does serve me well and seems like a decent quality product. Even my dog likes it as a makeshift bed (see pictures). Recommended if you don't mind the higher price tag, but I would think you could get a similar item for less.

I'm 6' tall and found this zabuton too small for me; smaller than the ones furnished to the students in my meditation class. I’m pretty limber but had trouble folding my legs to fit on the padded area. Not sure why it’s labeled as “Extra Large”. The material and construction was good … only the dimensions were a problem for me.

This mat is well-made, but it is way too soft for meditation. My zafu feels like it is floating on the mat, and there is no stability at all. Also, I'm 5'10" and this mat is too small by several inches in each direction. This mat would be nice as a sleeping pillow for a medium to small dog. I cannot recommend it for meditation at all. I am returning the mat immediately.

Hi space pad, when improvement might be to add rails of foam or fill along the edges of the cushion to provide support for the knees where in the crosslegged position. I sent a drawing of this under a separate email. Otherwise a nice cushion

The zabuton used for typical Zen practice is slightly wider than this, and much more flat and firm. This is not really a zabuton, more like a large puffy cushion. It's probably good if you need a bed for your dog. If you want solid ground for sitting, look elsewhere.

Filling is too loose, otherwise good quality.

This cushion is very comfortable. I am able to sit seiza using only this and my zafu on a hardwood floor for 30 minutes or more. Your milage may vary depending on your body, but I am not a small man. Happy sitting.

So lucky me spills something on it 2nd day. I take the cover off and wash it. The cover unraveled a lot of string in the washer and now has 2 holes along the seam. For the price i was already unimpressed. It's just a pillow with a cover on it. A cheap cover.
