The selectable colour temperature is very welcome. With a little refinement it could be a lot better. When switched on, it defaults to maximum brightness. This feels brutal on the occasions when you require less bright illumination, especially as the default is to cold white. I wish there was an option to turn it on warm & dim then work upward. Charging the unit is quirky: its charging port is USB C, but I can only make this work paired to chargers with USB A outputs. It seems not to correctly trigger native USB C power output from more modern chargers.
