The big blue backlit LCD display is genuinely nice — easy to read even if you're not fully awake yet or don't have your glasses on. Tempered glass top feels sturdy and looks sleek, not like a cheap plastic scale that's gonna crack. Auto-calibrates itself each time you step on, and it's consistent — not jumping around by a few pounds every time like some cheaper scales do. 400lb capacity means it'll work for most people without issue. Only minor thing: it can be a little finicky on carpet or uneven flooring, so hard flat surface is the way to go for accurate readings. Also runs on batteries which are included, but you'll want to keep spares on hand eventually. Solid budget-friendly pick if you just want accurate numbers without any smart features or app syncing nonsense.

Update: The weight appears to have settled now and is consistent. Perhaps that’s what it needed from the moving during shipping. I do like the fact the weight stays highlighted longer after you step off, no more trying to maneuver to see the weight. For the price I’ll keep it! Original review: Almost close to being inline with my Dr.’s scales, but off between 1-2 lbs. To some of us accuracy is important, but will continue using it to see if it stays consistent with day to day home use (same time-same clothing). It is somewhat light and the bars underneath are decorative only, and useless for moving since there’s nothing to grasp except the glass edge, i’m forced to use both hands when moving it. I can see this easily slipping out your hand and shattering to pieces. I place it in the same floor area as my previous one, which was sturdy with no rocking. This one rocks and is uneven, so I have to move it around to get it flat. At this point I’m not sure if it’s worth keeping, but will test it another week to see if it chsnges my mind.

This is actually a nice scale. It's easy to see the readings. Readings are very accurate compared to doctor offices scales. It's not as cold to step on as the previous one we had to replace. And we were able to get it quickly for a good price.

I was so surprised at how solid and sturdy this scale is. In the pictures online they all look like flimsy flat glass. I got the brushed stainless. Very easy to set up and starter instruction sticker right on base. Works immediately, accurate weight, simple to use. Most important to me was base size because of my jumbo feet. It’s larger than them. Yay.
