An Absolute Blast! The Boomerang That Actually Returns
This instantly became the highlight of our weekend park trips. If you’ve ever been skeptical about whether a boomerang actually works, this one will change your mind. The design is brilliant. It features soft, rubber edges which make it comfortable and secure to throw, and more importantly, incredibly soft to catch. It’s light enough that the kids (ages 8 and 11) were able to master the throwing technique quickly, and they were thrilled to see it consistently curve back right to them. The performance is genuinely high, easily flying the advertised distance before completing a smooth, satisfying return arc. The best part? The kids absolutely loved it. It turned simple catch into an exciting challenge, and it kept them active and focused in the park for hours, trying to perfect their throw angles. It’s easy to spot thanks to the bright colors, and the ability to slightly adjust the wingtips to "tune" the flight path adds a cool, educational element for older children. One major piece of advice (and this is obvious, but worth repeating!): Throw this in a massive, wide-open space. This boomerang flies a large circuit (up to 90 feet), and it gets high. Unfortunately, one of our practice throws drifted slightly off course on a breezy day and sailed right over a boundary tree—and it’s still up there. Learn from our mistake: be extremely careful throwing it near any trees or other tall obstructions, especially when starting out, as its flight path can be unpredictable until you master the spin. Overall, this is a five-star outdoor toy. Fantastic performance, durable construction, and it delivered on the promise of a returning flight!

So Much Fun Once You Get the Hang of It!
Once you figure out how to throw this, it is a blast! We actually had to watch a YouTube tutorial to figure out the proper throwing technique, but once we got the hang of it, we had so much fun with it. We brought it along on our beach vacation and it was a great activity to have with us. The kids loved trying to get it to come back, and even the adults had fun with it. The soft neoprene design is nice because it doesn't hurt if you accidentally get hit with it, and being able to use it around water was a huge bonus. It definitely takes a little practice at first, so don't give up if it doesn't work right away. Once you get the throwing motion down, it really does come back and is so much fun to play with. It gave us plenty of laughs on our beach trip and was a great way to get everyone outside and moving!

A Fun Challenge
(This is an updated review.) I read the instructions and watched videos, and I was convinced that I would easily have this thing returning to me reliably after I threw it. I immediately had trouble getting it to come anywhere near me at the end of its travel. One thing the instructions didn't emphasize was how critical the wind is. Too much wind will carry it over your head (and probably will be lodged in a tall tree), no wind at all will cause it to fall short. Most likely you will always have at least a small breeze, and it is important to throw it into a headwind to make it work. Determining the wind direction can be tricky. What I have settled on is taking my best guess and throwing it. Observe the direction it travels in as it is in the last part of its flight--at this time it is roughly flying in line with the wind direction. Within one or two more throws you will have it coming right back to you. It is a fun challenge to get it to come back to you, but also to gauge how it behaves at the last part of its travel so that you can catch it. All of this is probably too much for a small child to enjoy--but it is great fun for teenagers and older.

It comes back, follow the instructions or watch a video.
PRAISE BE TO ALAN ADLER! I've been throwing these since Covid, a few times a week about an hour or two at a time. Follow his tutorial on youtube, or follow the directions printed on the Orbiter and you'll be catchin' them in no time. For extra challenge, throw it extra hard and run your butt off in random directions to burn calories. No joke, I burn 200-400 calories per session with lots of jumping and sweating, this fulfills my aerobic (HEHE) activity needs each week.

Can't make it work!!!!
I'm sure it's just user error, but I can't get this thing to come back to me!!!! I've watch tutorial videos for hours, I've tried in different wind conditions, I've thrown with both hands. My friends and family have tried. We just can't seem to get it to work. But hopefully other people can!! Good luck!!

total POS
It was not even close to functional. It wouldnt even try to make a turn in flight. I got tired of trying, so I gave it a hard toss at the park and it got stuck in a tree, so i just left it there.

My nephew loved it, but the Live Oak out front loves it more
Super fun. I think the tree likes it better than we did, though. It's been holding on to it up there about 60ft high for a few years now.

It’s a very good boomerang! We had to buy a second one as it travels far and my husband managed to lose the first one.

Buen regalo
Difícil de lanzar si eres primerizo, pero si sigues las instrucciones, vuela bastante lejos y casi lo hago regresar a donde lo lanzo, se ve de material muy resistente.
