My microwave is 1000w, so just heated at 15 seconds, the instructions tell you what temperature. I had stye coming on, it really helped with pain. For treatment, use Ximonyh Chalazion Treatment Cream, also available at Amazon. Both worked a treat

I cannot praise this item enough! I have had a hard white spot on my lower lid for several months. Doctor suggested warm compress daily - I did it several times a day for a month with no effect. I have used this compress for 3 weeks and it’s nearly gone. I know some people have said that their problem was solved within a few days but I expected mine to take longer. So easy to use. You will need to buy more lid wipes but I was happy to do that. I get good use from wipes by tearing one into 3, then putting 2 parts back in the foil packet for use later in the day and tomorrow.

It did give me some relief and was easy to use the only bad thing is that it cools down very quickly and needs reheating. My pain was reduced after using.

Did not work for me (had a chalazion and was recommended by a specialist). It also caused sparks in my microwave a couple of times. But it was very soothing when heated and worn.

Have had ongoing problems with styes and blocked glands in my eyes for some time. I already have one of their eye masks, which I thought needed renewing, but thought I would try the patch this time so that I could still go about my business, or watch TV, whilst using it. I don't find this anywhere near as good. As a previous review says, the beads fall to the bottom of the patch so that, unless you are laid with your head back, the patch does not press against your eye and swings away from your face or just dangles down, meaning you have to press on it to get the heat where it's meant to be! Tightening the velcro strap makes no difference. If I have to lie with my head back then I would rather do it with the mask on, and have both eyes covered for 10 or 15 minutes. The mask doesn't have to be held in place constantly and I also think it stays warm for longer as it has a lot more beads in, of course. This patch is a nice idea in theory but practically it's just not very good.

This is really good! It stays warm a lot longer than using a wet face washer or anything similar. It’s also good in that you can wear it without having to hold it to your eye

Ecco un prodotto sul quale ero davvero scettico...ma ho dovuto ricredermi! Purtroppo sono particolarmente soggetto a calazio ed ogni volta che mi si ripresenta l' unica soluzione fino ad ora è stato un collirio antibiotico. Sotto consiglio di un conoscente ho voluto provare questo prodotto e ne sono rimasto colpito. In pratica non è niente altro che un cuscino con all' interno dei semi che consentono il mantenimento del calore, si scalda in microonde, senza piatto servono giusto 20 secondi. Nelle istruzioni viene consigliato un trattamento di 5/10 minuti ma nella realtà i benefici li ho ottenuti con 20/25 minuti continui ed ovviamente riscaldando più volte il sacchetto in modo da avere un calore costante che favorisse l' ammorbidimento dell' accumulo di grasso all' interno della palpebra. L' operazione va ripetuto almeno un paio di volte al giorno per diversi giorni. Nel mio caso l' accumulo di grasso si è totalmente dissolto, cosa che prima avveniva solo con antibiotico e massaggio della palpebra. Per me prodotto top!
