Smells odd, works well. One edge kept separating a thin bead of material that left the edge frayed. It doesn't really affect the function as the material blends into itself, but could be annoying if you were looking for a perfect edge-to-edge wrap.

It's got a strange smell to it - almost like sap or something - and it's quite sticky. It's effective enough to only need just enough to wrap around twice and it holds. Now my mounted lights, cell phone holder, and action camera mount stay put! Awesome stuff.
