We have this blender for over 2 years already. Does the job good, functions properly. We use it mostly for shakes or sauces/dips. Easily crushes walnuts. Fine with crushing ice also (but I would still be careful and not put a lot at the same time). Whisks nicely as well.

I LOVE IT! I should say this is my first immersion blender and I have nothing to compare it with. I am very pleased with this ATK recommendation. The 700W motor feels very powerful and fast. No splattering issues. Fairly easy to clean. Easy to handle and control with one hand though you’d need to hold down the container firmly. Whisk works well with egg batter. Will be unfair to compare with aerating using a stand mixer. Have not used it on egg whites.

Went for this after my old Braun blender developed some issues after almost 15 years of use. This blender seems to live up to the Braun reputation. It has a powerful motor and should do for most mixing/blending/chopping purposes. The chopper grinds vegetables fine in a jiffy. The cut size is not adjustable and there may be a few uncut pieces. The chopping blades are extremely sharp. So be careful when handling it. I wish it had some speed adjustments too as it has only two speeds - low and high. Low speed should suffice for most purposes. The high speed spills juices though the specs say it is splash proof.
