They do the job
I bought these for a friend. I found them light and easy to use. They are slightly fiddly for large logs (but so are the ones I use at home), but they were great for moving bits of coal around. I was going to get her a pair like I have at home, which are older cast iron ones and are quite heavy, but looking at reviews for those modern ones often seem to arrive broken or break soon after using them. I'm glad I opted for these, which look like they'll last a while.

No more burned fingers!
These are perfect for anyone with a woodstove. You don't need that big stand of a bunch of tools that are not really needed (and those long tong things never work well anyway!). I needed something to place another wood briquette into the hot stove and to stir up the coals - these are the perfect length to do those jobs, are very sturdy and well made and they look really nice on the hearth. Highly recommend!

Good solid tongs
Perfect. Tongs open really wide too. Glad I got this one

Sturdy
These are nice and sturdy, however they are clearly made for people with gigantic hands - to pick up a log, I have to use both hands. I do have quite small hands, to be fair.

Does the job!
Very sturdy and open wide so you can handle larger logs. They are very heavy which is perfect for me but would probably not be ideal for someone with mobility issues or an older person.

Good for small logs
This looks nice and is quite useful but only for really small logs. It's impossible to hold larger ones steady so I end up having to handle the logs with protective gloves when the stove is alight. Not ideal - so the tongs are not as helpful to me as I hoped they'd be. OK as an extra, but larger, stronger ones are probably a better bet.

Pour des petites bûches légères
elle n'est pas longue donc on a les mains qui chauffent quand on rentre les bûches, mais elle est solide
