## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you have the size fits Bluthner model 2?**
A: I am sorry, the Bluthner model 2 is 7 feet 8 inches (238cm) long, the closer of our cover is 2 inches shorter (C7, 7 feet 6 inches, 228cm), it won't look nice.

**Q: What size for a 5"11 Shigeru Kawai S2?**
A: for 5 feet 11 inches Shigeru Kawai S2, piano, you can consider our C3 (6 feet 1 inch). Please note that this cover is designed to fit Yamaha C3 grand piano, it might not be a perfect fit because all brands/models might have different shapes especially the right curve and the left tail shape. We usually recommend a bigger size cover. A bigger size cover can cover the piano well although it might not look perfect.

**Q: how will it fit a steinway model L grand piano and how is it cleaned?**
A: According to available data, the Steinway model L grand piano is around 180 cm x 148cm, which means the most suitable size would be the YC3 size at 6'1" length. It is just slightly larger than the size of the Steinway and there will be allowances on the edges.

Our Premium velvet material is really durable and is able to withstand even machine washing. However, if able to, we recommend handwashing with cold water. Do not tumble dry as tumbling may add folds to it which has can be ironed off.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highest Quality and amazing service
*by F***M on December 16, 2024*

This was purchased to use over a 35 year old C6 Yamaha grand piano. I originally ordered a C7 (larger cover) from Amazon but received an email the day after placing the order to double check the measurements of the piano. I agreed with the rep that a cover for a C6 piano would fit better however there had not been available listed on Amazon. He thought he could find one and did. Two days after the email I received a beautiful cover that fit perfectly. The cover itself is double layered with a velvet like outer layer and a durable yet very soft inner layer. This purchased was one of the best I have ever made, and I look forward to using the cover for many years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely beautiful cover!
*by A***A on July 21, 2017*

This is an absolutely beautiful cover! It fits like a glove on my Yamaha G2 piano (made for that exact instrument). Open up the flap of the lid, and the ruffles cover to just exactly the bottom of the folded-back portion. Fit the seams to the instrument, and the cover is well taylored, as you lift the piano lid, the cover will stay on and not fall off. The fabric has a sheen and feels like silk or rayon to the touch. Holding my hand to one side of the fabric while holding it up to the light, it does seem to block out most of the light (which can not only fade the paint, but also warp the soundboard if the instrument is exposed to too much strong, direct sun. Under ordinary circumstances, my piano technician said that one does not need a thick fabric to protect the instrument. If you really do have high sun exposure, close the drapes or add extra fabric such as cotton or silk underneath this cover, but for me given our great lighting but no direct, blaring hot sun, I see no need for it). In addition to protecting the instrument from light and dust, it really adds a beautiful decorative touch to our living room and really does seem to do a good job of blocking out most of the sun. Francesca at the factory, is very quick to respond to emails and is very, very courteous. The satiny sheen in the livingroom is at once simple and elegant. I am very pleased! :-)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful, high-quality cover
*by Y***C on September 30, 2020*

This piano cover is great looking, soft and made of high-quality fabric. It fit my Yamaha GB1K-SC2 almost perfectly. The first time putting it on, it took me some time to figure out how to position it. Great tool to keep dust and excessive light. Though slightly pricier than I had expected, I thought it is totally worth its value and would definitely buy again.
