This is a great way to add more storage to your devices. The speed is actually better than expected. I've been using the product for almost a year now, and the quality has not decreased over time at all! It's easy to take with you when traveling and is not noisy at all. Bought the 1TB version a few weeks ago because I needed some extra storage for my laptop and PS4. So far it's been doing exactly what I need it to do. It was literally plug and play, and my PC picked it up straight away. I've moved a few hundred GB of photos, games, and work files onto it and haven't had any issues. It's pretty slim and doesn't take up much space in my bag, which is handy because I take it between home and work. The transfer speeds are decent for an external hard drive. It's not the fastest thing in the world, but for backups and storing games it does the job well. It also runs quietly and doesn't seem to get very warm. For the price, I honestly can't complain. If you just need reliable extra storage without spending a lot, I'd recommend it.

If i could choose a minus number if stars, i would. I bought this drive on the back of the good reviews, so I formatted it and proceeded to transfer nearly 500G of video, pictures and 3d print files, basically everything I need safe and not clogging up my PC. I used it for 2 weeks before cleaning everything off my PC. Great, I'm running nice and fast again. Then randomly the next time I plug this in it wants me to format it, I now have no access to the 500g of files I absolutely need. It slowed my PC down considerably and I now stand to lose everything on it if I format it. Trust this POS at your own risk. I've lost everything I need. I've done everything I know to retrieve my files back. Of course if I format it again, everything is gone. Nothing I can do about it either, the damage is already done. Stick with the better brands like Toshiba etc.

I needed a storage device for photos and documents I have accumulated over the years, and after some consideration I decided to opt for this external hard drive. Firstly I am not a computer buff and to be honest not the most technically gifted person, so I wanted something simple to set up to transfer a number of files, folders mainly container years worth of pictures. its ultra slim and portable and it certainly is, weighing only some 150g and fits in my hand easily also my trouser pocket! Now as mentioned I only wanted this as a back-up so I wouldn't lose many old photos and files and I must say that downloading them on the the hard drive was simple and very fast, it took no time to do and every time I have wanted to get a file I just plug in and within seconds I can locate the file or pic I am looking for. It comes with a USB 3.0 lead and is as simple as plug in and play.

Loved the quality, appears to be durable & eye catchy colour. Decent size for someone who has moderate data, speed is good enough, no heating problem, so overall good in functionality.

(Actualización de Octubre de 2025) Llevo usando este disco duro de 500 GB desde diciembre de 2024 para realizar copias de seguridad. Aunque no es el más rápido, para lo que lo utilizo, que es para hacer copias de seguridad de fotos, vídeos o documentos, me va perfecto. Después de casi un año usándolo diariamente (tengo configurada la copia de manera automática), su rendimiento sigue siendo estable, no noto nada raro, y su estado de salud está dentro de lo normal, comprobado con CrystalDiskInfo. Por lo que, a día de hoy, me sigue dando tranquilidad para usarlo para las copias de seguridad. Lo conectas, copias y listo (yo lo tengo conectado permanentemente). La velocidad típica de 100–120 MB/s es la normal en disco HDD, y considerando su precio, funcionamiento, bajo nivel de ruido y capacidad de 500 GB, creo que ofrece una excelente relación calidad-precio. 🎥En el vídeo se puede ver cómo es físicamente el disco duro y los resultados de las pruebas de velocidad (lectura y escritura) que le he realizado y que cumplen con las especificaciones del fabricante. ✅ 📌Lo que me ha gustado: 🔹Precio económico (me costó 28,79 €, ahora 31,99 €) 🔹Funcionamiento sencillo y tamaño no muy grande. 🔹Incluye cable USB 3.0 (es importante usar un puerto USB 3.0 para el mejor rendimiento). Se conecta a un puerto USB-A. ⚠️ Ten en cuenta: 🔸 Al ser un HDD evita golpes y no lo muevas mientras está funcionando. 🔸 No es ideal para trabajar con archivos grandes directamente desde él. 🔸💡Si quieres más velocidad por unos 10 € más, tienes otras opciones en Amazon, discos SSD con velocidades entre 4 y 5 veces más rápido. 🔍 En resumen, el UnionSine HDD no es un mal disco duro, pero si priorizas la velocidad un disco duro SSD puede ser una mejor opción por poco más.
