227 - Tactical Survival Paracord Watch w/Firestarter - Knife - Stopwatch - Calendar - Alarm - Compass and More

I'm tired of buying watches because the cheap bands break (not the watch itself). What a great idea to have paracord for the band (and in an emergency you're set!). The concept of this watch is great. $50 was more expensive than what I was used to paying for watches, but if it lasted longer, I was happy with that.Pros:- easy to read analog watch- Aesthetically pleasing- Great emergency equipment - with you at all times!- Great Customer service. The first watch they sent me had a second hand that stopped working, so they sent me a new watch promptly.- paracord is expertly braided and soldered together.Cons:- Not adjustable. It probably fits most guys, but if it doesn't fit you, you're in a lurch! (especially if it is too big for your wrist). It may be soaked to be expanded a bit, but that's about it.- watch itself doesn't seem of best quality (not the band - the actual electronic part). The second hand doesn't always line up with the tick marks and the first watch they sent me stopped working after a week. They sent a replacement watch promptly, and the second hand works great on the 2nd watch (but still doesn't always line up with tick marks). Knowing the great customer service, I wouldn't let this stop you from buying the watch.- It is a bit bulky. With the compass, it is absurdly bulky. I ended up cutting off the compass. Even without the compass, I have to take the watch off to sleep, otherwise it is uncomfortable - I never had to do that with other sports watches I've owned over the years.- The light in the watch seems odd, but that is probably just because I'm used to indiglo watches that glow in every digit (not just a little led light at the bottom). I suppose it might be useful in an emergency.- Order/placement of modes is different than what I'm used to with sports watches. I'd prefer to have a digital clock with the date visible, but you have to pick which one you want visible with this watch. No biggy. Also the reset for the timer needs to be held down for a few seconds to reset the timer - feels wonky, but again not a big deal - its just not what I'm used to.I almost wish they could take a normal sports watch and do the paracord band with it, but this will have to do until this idea catches on more with people. Regardless, I was happy with this purchase and the customer support. I would gladly buy again.2017-01 Update: After about a year, the replacement watch they sent me stopped working (the analog hands). The digital part still works, so I suppose it is still functional, but It is obviously a low quality watch if the first watch broke in the same way the replacement broke. I've downgraded my 5-star review to a 3-star review.

Good product. Matched the description on Amazon perfectly. We tested it to be waterproof by submerging it underwater with a heavier object on top of it to hold it in place & it still works just fine. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the plastic face scratches very easily. In a survival situation it would definitely get scratched by wood, brush, etc. & make the face difficult to see with enough scratches on it. Overall though, it is a useful product. I got it for my boyfriend who is a survival enthusiast & finds leather & metal watch bands uncomfortable, so prefers paracord.

I like it a lot but it's way too small. I'm not a very big guy but I'm not a twig either. So don't but this if you are a little big

Not water proof, showered with it once, took it off right away as a recauiontary measure, still got water in it. Now the hands show a different time as the digital and when I try to change it, it delays and can't get them in syncs. Screen is all foggy and has moisture built in it now. Would NOT recommend this to anyone at all, specially for the price, it's not worth it.

Band is GREAT. Watch is garbage. I've had mine four months and hands stopped working already. I bought a G-Shock and put on this band.

Bought this and the wrist band is way too small and I am not a big man. Much better watches out there than this POS! Sorry just a bit upset I was expecting a better product.

Fantastic watch and a lot of fun, quality is outstanding and I use it on all my outdoor adventures.
