works excellent to control our large fan in the laundry room. It is more of an air circulator than an exhaust fan and this switch is soo easy to program and use. If you want to turn it on manually, just push the button. You can easily set the run length time and how often you want the fan to kick on. Note your setup needs to have a three wire, ie you need to have access to the white wire since this switch is not a simple on/off switch.

This is a really nice, easy to install/setup, auto timer fan switch. I really like this switch for the guest bathroom/kids bathroom. Once I finally got them to start turning the fan on consistently when showering... they'd just turn it on and leave it on all the time... This switch is a great option of you don't want a continuous run choice (which I didn't). It's decent quality and the timer setting is a small dial located behind the faceplate so easily accessible without being too easily changed or overridden. I've had it installed for a few weeks now and it's working exactly as I'd hoped.

Easy way to ventilate older homes using existing bathroom fan. I installed this wall switch in our on-suite bathroom fan. It now runs for 10 minutes every hour and draws fresh air from a slightly opened window. Our CO2 level has dropped considerably making sleeping much more comfortable. I would highly recommend this Topgreener Aircirculator switch TDTS5-W-F together with an indoor air quality CO2 monitor. If you are not comfortable with electrical wiring, hire it done. You must have hot neutral and ground in the switch box to facilitate proper installation.

It has a hour and minute timer. Easy to install. Works great. Just as good as the expensive air circulator controls. I use these often for bath fan installs that meet ashrae specs for state weatherization work.

Didn't really understand how the time worked, until we got it and looked at it. Install was easy and somewhat self-explanatory if you have done any electrical work. The timer sets from 0 to an hour of total duration you are going to have it notified, and the length of time can be varied from 5 minutes to that full hour of how long the fan will be on. So, if you want it only when you want it, the push button on the front is easy on, easy off, and you set total duration timer to 0. Biggest issues, not good for 24 hours and maybe set for 30 minutes a day, as it only sets on 0 to 1 hour increments that the fan can be on; 2nd issue is that my wife, who was with me, when we pulled the face down to access the timers, the print was so small we almost could not read it and immediately looked at each other and started laughing. But, I could just barely make it out by staring at it long enough, and her not at all. Sucks getting old.
