This is a quality product and a great value for the money. It has great water retention if the if you get a lot of spring rain and even if you put them deep, they’re gonna come up out of the dirt but still some I’ll stay down in there these particular ones I got the large I wish I would’ve got medium for my containers because I’ve used medium soil moist over the years anyway this product was comparable. I’m happy with it and it seems to be keeping the plants fairly good during this hot Kansas summer.

This stuff is unbelievable. It works incredibly well, however, read the directions first because they cover a lot of ground. I put way too many around my flowers and it was like a large clear gel field in my garden. They really do hold the water and they work to keep the plant moist. I would buy them again for sure but I’d read the directions next time!

Use in outdoor potted plants

This product is easy to use and will keep your outdoor planters, potted house plants, and even trees hydrated so you don't need to water as often. I used a product like this years ago in the dozens of 5" pots of edible flowers in my greenhouse when I had an organic farm, and it saved a ton of labor. There are no down sides to conserving water and reducing labor! Tip: put a few crystals in a glass of water overnight so you can see how much they expand. This will prevent you from using too much, which I have done way too many times, causing silly giant gel blobs to erupt from the soil. No harm done, but it's a waste of product. A little goes a long way.

This product is working very well for my hanging baskets My only advice is do not add too much to the soil as the soil will erupt within the basket. So far it's doing exactly what it was intended to do.

The crystals seem to absorb liquid great, it will take time to see if it helps the soil in my big concrete pots from drying out as fast with this mixed in. My disappointment was opening the mailing envelope to discover the ziploc-type bag the crystals were in had opened & spilled all the crystals. I lost some in the envelope & in my carpet. The crystals would work better in a resealable bag with a tearoff strip to keep the crystals in. I lost some of the value for the money because I did not get the full weight.

My potted plants are on a drip system and some need a bit more water than others, depending on how hot it is. This product solved the problem. The crystals absorb and release moisture as need so I don't have to worry about over or under watering

This has made a wonderful addition to my vegetable garden. It balances over watering and under watering very well!
