I have adult acne i have tried over 25 different brands/ styles of acne dots from pharmacy styles to buying on amazon. These are my favorite by far!!!!! Most acne dots do not work well on deep nodule and cycstic acne (the microneedle styles in other brands sometimes help but its hit or miss). I have fairly sensative skin and its oily in places dry in others. These dots do not irritate the skin; more the opposite within 20 minutes of putting the dots on the pain from my inflamed acne was gone. Within 48 hours my acne had either receeded or come to a head and was healing. They also lasted a pretty long time before they needed to be changed (for me 10 hours on an avg day). They are lightweight, flexible, breathable and pretty much invisible on skin. If you do want to wear makeup over it thats fine too; tried it myself no issues still felt breathable and the dots being a matte material were a bit shiny so i reccomend usibg poweder on it of some kind with watever other makeup you choose to use. they were easy to cover. I love the material the dots are made of they dont even feel like a band aid; they feel even lighter. They stick pretty well id give adhesion 8/10 overall. My only reccomendation to the company is to offer an additional size of the dots that is even larger for people like myself who have some very large deep acne but for now if needed i just use two dots for coverage on those. Ordering more right away. I dont do reveiws much but i know the awful struggles of acne (ive had it for decades; seen 3 different dermatoligists, tried pro active and accutane). I did receive a derma angel specific coupon for completing a reveiw however i would have written one reguardless. I wanted to be very detailed and honest in my experience in hopes this might help yall too; theres so much product out there that claims to help acne that doesnt and so much trial and error and pain and $$money spent for many of us dealing with acne just hoping sharing my persspective/ experience with this great product helps Good Luck All.

Love the product itself! Hate the difficulty opening each one though-

I already wrote a review but I wanted to revise it because this products deserves 5 stars, not 4 like I had previously given. I still don't how they look under makeup, but compared to others they are much less noticeable. I did just discover these patches have a place to tear so you can apply them individually. This is a FANTASTIC feature because it allows you to place the patch down without any tugs to areas of the patch, making it way less noticeable once it finally goes on your skin. This acne patch was very good compared to others I've used. I was very shocked the other night when I put it on a starting blemish and it actually sucked it out without me popping it! I haven't been able to find a pimple patch that has ever actually done that! For comparison, I have used COSRX and RAEL patches. I have found the derma angel patch to be much more hidden when applied and more effective. I did try to put makeup over it and in my opinion, it's not completely invisible. I recommend not putting any makeup over the patch because it just makes the blemish more noticeable. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product and will continue to buy more. Also, for anyone searching for an acne patch that slightly punctures the pimple and sucks up the pus I recommend the patches with micro darts!

I have tried a few different brands of patches, but I keep returning to these. PRO: these guys stick!, the suck out all the gunk, and the daytime patches are truly usable during the day as they are sheer. CON: I find that these are very pricey for what you get. Now, one thing I should state is that I don't get regular pimples. I suffer mostly from cystic acne where the entire life cycle of the cyst takes about a month to go away...and a few months for the scars to start fading. It starts with a bump under the skin which never really comes to a head. These don't work overnight for me, but it shortens the process of the cyst down to a few days. If I catch the cyst under the skin, sometimes they don't even get to form and go away completely after a day or two. If the cyst pops up, I put one of these on it and by the second day a white head will form on it. After that, once I put another patch on it, it starts to deflate the cyst by pulling all fluid from the head that formed. By the third day, I can start the healing process. I truly recommend but just wish they weren't so pricey!
