These strips worked to prevent swallow from nesting under our entryway and perching over our front door. Although a bird lover, I was not a fan of the droppings they'd leave on our entryway.

Not Effective Against Persistent Wildlife This product didn't solve our squirrel and critter problem. The adhesive tabs provided weren't strong enough to keep the plastic strips securely in place - they kept coming loose despite our efforts. We even tried reinforcing them with Liquid Nails construction adhesive, but that didn't help much. The squirrels quickly adapted to the deterrent, learning to carefully step around the spikes. Even worse, some critters simply chewed through the plastic points to create their own pathways past the barrier. If you're dealing with determined wildlife, you may want to look for a more robust solution. These strips might work for occasional visitors, but persistent animals will find ways around them.

Durable, however does NOT deter cats!

Seems to do the job, width was perfect for my application. Plastic spikes are thin and collapse easily if you’re not careful. Not enough adhesive stickers if you’re using the whole pack and there a pain in the a** to pull the film backing off of, should have put a tab to make it easier…

Two stars because maybe it slowed the stubborn birds down a bit, but ultimately it acts as solid rebar support for a little nest penthouse. I originally put one down and the bird just bit the tip until it flattened and then stepped on it to make it 90 degrees and a flat surface. You'd think if the birds were so smart, they wouldn't defecate all over their home (why I'm trying to get rid of them in the first place) The box does come with a ton of these things (a pro), so I tried stacking 12 or so to strengthen the tips. This confused the birds for a bit, but ultimately they just dropped grass into the grooves until it filled up and now the pointy substructure is woven into their nest in such a way that will allow it to survive thunderstorms, hurricanes, and possibly a nuclear fallout. Update: Changed to three stars because now the bird nest now doubles as a storm shelter for our family of 4 in case of Tornadoes.

I absolutely love the quality. I wasn’t sure about purchasing plastic pigeon spikes, but these are buildable and looks so clean much better than the giant metal spikes. Most people use. I would buy these again and again.

I have robins who keep building a nest on my gutter just outside my front door. No matter how many times the nest got taken down, they’d just rebuild. Bought these to deter them and they do not work. The birds just build right on top of the spikes.

These are great if you have a ledge or pergola where birds roost, try to make nests or poop on your patio. They are easily installed, just follow the instructions, you can also cut them to size with scissors.

Bought 2 packs of these spikes to attach to my patio / veranda railings to deter the (many!) birds who like to land there and poop.... Very simply design, seems ok in UV (in Australia), simply stick down with double-sided tape - provided. So much easier than some of the more sophisticated systems out there. Would buy again.

I installed these on the railing of our Juliet balcony where the pigeons roost and leave their mess behind. I installed them with 3M two sided tape, they installed easily and best of all - they work. The pigeons haven't been back to my balcony and are probably visiting my neighbours instead.
