many little adjustments
Well made durable hinge. I looked all over for hinges that I could use on my mastercraft tool case to replace the flimsy plastic clasps they use that eventually break. With a little imagination and some altering the hinges were installed on each side of the case and worked perfectly. Glad I found them.

Great replacement hasp
I used these hasps to replace the old push style clasps on my trumpet case. They worked out great for me, but there are a few things to consider for your own project 1) As others have mentioned, screws are not included. I needed to use screws and nuts for my application. All the hasps with fasteners have wood screws included. I would have had to procure screws and nuts anyways. 2) The arm bar rests about 2mm above the side screw holes. I shaved the top of the side screws with a belt sander. I think they were designed for rivets, but it was easy to modify my screws. 3) The side holes are right up against the lock body. I flattened one side of each of the side screws with a belt sander. 4) The underside of the lock body has a raised section. This worked on my case because I had to straddle a metal trim piece. If you are mounting these on flush sides, they will have a gap under them where they latch. Overall, these are a great value for a DIY fix. New trumpet cases are about $100, so the $4ish I paid is a great value. I will be saving these in an Amazon list for future projects!
