Gets the job done. The basket is quite hard to remove which I suppose is a good thing. the Handle is even more beautiful in person. It seems like you can twist it off but at the same time the portafilter feels solid and heavy. I wish it was a little cheaper but I'd say this is a just about fair price. Fits wonderfully into my De'Longhi ECP35.31

Looks great and feels really nice quality, but unfortunately although my machine needs a 51mm portafilter, this has a slightly thinner lip and much smaller ears. This means it's not stable in the grouphead, and water escapes around the side between the portafilter and grouphead. Had to return it.

Two-eared Portafilter with a DeLonghi Icona Vintage espresso machine. Fit perfectly and worked like a dream on first go. I chose this as the machine used in the product photos was that of my own, giving me confidence that it would be sized correctly. Performed much better than the original pressurised filters and Portafilter that you receive with the unit and was actually easier to use and clean in my opinion. If you have the same machine as I do, then I can at least confirm that it worked well for me.

We have a delongi coffee machine that came with a cheap pressurised portafilter. This makes it much easier for beginners when using those pre-ground coffee bags. This non-pressurised portafilter allows you to "dial in" your expresso a lot better, so you can have that perfect cup of expresso in the morning. I found much more pricier ones online but than this one came up and thought it be worth a try considering the coffee machine we have isn't too expensive so didn't want to spend almost the price of the machine on a portafilter if the taste of the coffee wasn't going to be much improved. Using this howver has been a total game changer and elevated my coffee drinking to a new lever - and at such a great price. It also has enough space for two servings of expresso but usually only use it for one. Coming from James Hoffman it doesn't make much difference using a larger basket for a single shot of expresso and I definately agree. I wouldn't be able to differentiate between the coffee this helps to make compared to more expensive artisan coffee shops, although I'm certaintly not the best coffee connoisseur.

The majority of reviews for this product were good so I thought I'd take a chance on it. It said delivery would be around 3 weeks but it came within the week. Its a heavy, well crafted piece of kit and the wooden handle is lovely. I read some reviews about it not fitting the grouphead but it fits mine fine (delonghi stilosa), although I do feel a slight 'metal on metal' when locking it in and taking it out (probably due to the ears being slightly different shape). It fits about 16g fine, but I think you'd struggle with 18g as advertised. I am finding it's spitting a fine stream of water/coffee out but I know that's my puck prep as I'm knew this coffee lark, and nothing to do with the portafilter. However the resulting coffee tastes far better than my old pressurised basket. Overall very happy.

Bought this for my Delonghi Stilosa (EC260) and along with a decent grinder it works tremendously well. Fits the head perfectly, easy to clean, great quality. Makes delicious coffee!

I got this for my Delonghi espresso machine as wanted to upgrade to a bigger and better quality basket. The handle and quality is good and feels really nice with a tight fit when putting the basket it. Unfortunately however after using it a few times it started to leak as per the video. I'd seen a few reviews mentioned leaking. I put 16grams in and tried a few different grinds and levels of roast in case it was me but kept getting the same result. I even tried adding an O ring to the basket to raise it up slightly from the portafilter to try get a better seal but again got leaking. Oddly I put the basket in the stock portafilter and it worked fine so think the issue is the portafilter not sealing properly. The ears looked slightly smaller then the issue one which might be the issue. The basket itself feels really good quality and the portafilter, unfortunately it just kept leaking and I gave up and had to return it as £28 isn't cheap. Rated 2 stars as it is good quality, but didn't work for me.

It’s a well-made portafilter that looks great and fits perfectly; however, it moves when it’s under pressure while making espresso. I had to keep a hand on it just to make sure it didn’t fall out. In the long term, this might cause damage to the group head. The problem is that they make a “one-size-fits-all” portafilter, which doesn’t work. In my case, I have a DeLonghi ECP 33.51, and its original portafilter has wider ears compared to this one. I have returned mine.

Delonghi 235.bk ile tam uyum sağladı. 51 mm iki kulaklı olanını almak gerekiyor. 18 gram kahve ile denedim, ince çekim yapmak ve güzel tamperlemek lazım. Hiç su sızırma gibi bir şey olmadı. Espresso kalitesini de artırdı köpük kalitesini de. En dandik makine ile bile beklediğim kalitede espresso alabildim :) Edit: 51 mm için en ideal ölçünün 15.5-16 gram olduğu sonucuna vardım. 30 saniyede 40-45 gram çıktı alıyorum ve memnunum.

Fonctionne très bien sur ma Delonghi. Et en complément, je peux y installer le panier de ma Rok pour utiliser le même tamper. Certes, le panier fourni n'est pas équivalent à ceux de grandes marques, mais c'est largement suffisant. Rien à redire, ça fait son job

Si adatta perfettamente sia a Dedica DeLonghi sia a Stilosa. Bello, solido e funzionale.

This portafilter works for my Delonghi Stilosa EC260 espresso machine pretty well so far. I haven't used the included non-pressurized filter basket because I prefer the pressurized ones (they're easier to work with). Thankfully, the pressurized filter baskets I have fit this portafilter without too much difficulty. I also have a tall measuring cup that keeps the espresso from splashing everywhere (pretty much a requirement if using pressurized baskets with bottomless portafilters. I haven't used the included filter basket because it's non-pressurized and I prefer using the pressurized ones (they're easier to work with) The quality and build seems pretty good. It IS a bit tight to put on the espresso machine, even if it's empty, but does fit. I do recommend this portafilter if you're looking to get a bottomless one.
