Bit of a shocker
Don't be dismayed if you purchase the 5000 watt unit and it comes with a brief manual answering the following user's question: "is it 1000 watts per outlet or 1000 watts in total?" The answer 1000 watts in total. After reflection, I realized the manual was covering for smaller versions of the transformer. Leastways I hope so! I most appreciate being able to concurrently run both voltages.

Works well for overseas appliances
Got some appliances from overseas that require 220v power. This one works well. Better buy bigger wattage than your appliances if you can.

I can still use it but it doesn't work all the power. Power conversion seems not the best. Heats up really quick as well. Noise level is tolerable. Good size and conversion speed

J’ai acheté ce transformateur Yinleader 5000W pour faire fonctionner des appareils européens au Quebec (et vice-versa), et il remplit parfaitement son rôle. La construction est robuste, le boîtier bien ventilé, et les prises sont solides. On sent tout de suite que c’est du matériel sérieux. L’installation est très simple : il suffit de choisir la bonne tension d’entrée avec le sélecteur, brancher l’appareil et c’est prêt. Le transformateur fonctionne silencieusement, sans surchauffe, même après plusieurs heures d’utilisation continue. Je l’ai utilisé avec des équipements assez puissants (comme un robot de cuisine européen et un outil électrique) et tout a parfaitement fonctionné. Aucun souci de surcharge ni de variation de tension. En résumé, c’est un excellent choix si vous avez besoin de convertir la tension de façon fiable pour des appareils domestiques ou professionnels. Je recommande sans hésiter !

I purchased this Step Up Transformer so that I would have 240 volt "polarized" Power for our boat. There are two 120volt hot lines on the 240 volt output side of the step up transformation, plus the ground and there is no neutral and this is precisely what I need on our boat. We don't need a neutral because we have an Isolation Transformer on our boat and the Isolation Transformer on the boat provides the neutral on the boat side. The Transformer doubles the input voltage almost exactly so when the input side is 120 you get 240 volt and when it's 118 on the input side you get to 236 volts -it works perfectly! The case is good quality and the Outlet receptacles give you plenty of options for different Types Of Plugs Highly recommended!

Súper funcional y útil. Hace el cambio en ambos sentidos de 110 a 220 y vs. Atrás te indica que corriente ENTRA para que lo suba o lo divida. Es decir, si tienes 110 y necesitas 220, colocas atrás 110 y así el reconoce que debe darte 220v. Si le colocaras 220, te divide la corriente.
